Oppo A15 with 6.52-inch Display and Helio P35 Launched in Nepal

Oppo has launched the Oppo A15 in Nepal. Oppo revealed the availability of Oppo A15 in the Nepali market via their Facebook page.

Oppo A15 price in Nepal is Rs. 18,590 for 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant. It is available for purchase via authorized retail stores.

Oppo A15 is a budget phone and one of the most affordable entries to the Oppo’s A-series. It features a 6.52 inch IPS display and a triple camera setup.

With a similar design to that of the Redmi 9C and Realme C3, it looks to be a contender in the budget segment. Let’s take a brief look at its features.

Oppo A15 Overview

Design

Oppo A15 has a similar looking design to the likes of fellow budget phones like Realme C3 and Redmi 9C. It has a polycarbonate back with a square-shaped camera module. The fingerprint sensor flanks the camera module on the rear.

On the front, it has a teardrop notch.

Display

Oppo A15 flaunts a 6.52 inches HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.

It has a screen-to-body ratio of 83% along with 269 ppi pixel density.

Hardware

Oppo A15 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It is a 12nm chipset which is the older version of the Helio G35.

Helio P35 has an Octa-core (4×2.35 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Along with this, Oppo A15 has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

For a new phone, Oppo should have gone with the Helio G35 chipset which has all the cores clocked at 2.3GHz. This allows G35 to get slightly better performance than the P35. However, both of them use the same PowerVR GE8320 GPU. For the price, the chipset is not up to the mark.

Phones like Redmi 9 and Poco M2 have better performance with better chipset for less price.

Camera

Oppo A15 has a familiar triple camera setup with a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

On the front, it has a 5MP sensor for selfies.

Battery & OS

Interms of battery, Oppo A15 has a 4230 mAh battery along with 10W charging. Redmi 9C and Realme C3 come with a larger 5000 mAh battery.

Moving on, it runs on Color OS 7.2 on top of Android 10.
