OnePlus 13 series was the company’s flagship lineup for 2025. The lineup had three phones, two of which, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, landed in Nepal around the time of their global launch. Now, more than a year after the series first launched, OnePlus is finally completing the lineup in Nepal with the OnePlus 13s.

The OnePlus 13s sits at the bottom of the OnePlus 13 series lineup, with a smaller screen and fewer cameras than the regular OnePlus 13.
Alongside the OnePlus 13s, OnePlus is also bringing the much-awaited Nord CE 6, a smaller sibling to the Nord 6. However, here we’ll primarily focus on the 13s.
What is the Price of the OnePlus 13s in Nepal?
The OnePlus 13s launched before the world saw the price hike era. And with it finally arriving in Nepal, we can expect it to launch at a fairly aggressive price as well, similar to what we saw happen with the realme P3 and P3 Ultra.
That said, the OnePlus 13s price in Nepal could be Rs. 1,19,999 for the sole 16/512GB variant. The phone has not yet launched in Nepal.
The OnePlus 13 was a phenomenal phone when it launched. It checked all the boxes with a flagship chip, unique design, decent charging, and a complete flagship camera setup. So, I was quite bummed that the phone never made it to Nepal.
However, with the OnePlus 13s coming to Nepal more than a year after its launch, it is entering a much more uneven playing field. The phone is still a capable flagship, but it now has to compete with newer phones that offer bigger batteries, newer software, and more up-to-date hardware.
So let’s see how it holds up.
OnePlus 13s Overview
Being a OnePlus 13 series phone, I thought the 13s would feature the same circular camera module as its siblings. But I’m happy to say that the phone doesn’t look like its older siblings at all.
In fact, it looks a bit OnePlus 15-ey to me. Unlike the OnePlus 13, the 13s uses a square-ish camera module with curved edges, much like the newer OnePlus 15 lineup. So, despite launching quite a while after the OnePlus 13, you don’t have to worry about the phone looking old or dated.
Adding to that, the glass back and aluminum frame give the phone a more premium feel, while its compact dimensions and 185-gram weight make it considerably easier to handle than the much larger OnePlus 13.

The design changes also extend to the side of the phone. OnePlus has ditched its iconic Alert Slider in favor of the new Plus Key, just like the newer OnePlus 15. The Plus Key can still handle the basic functions of the Alert Slider, such as switching between ring, vibrate, and silent modes, but it can also be customized for shortcuts such as opening the camera, turning on the flashlight, taking a screenshot, or accessing OnePlus’ AI features.
The biggest difference between the OnePlus 13s and its bigger sibling is right in front. Instead of the massive 6.82-inch display on the OnePlus 13, the 13s comes with a much more compact display.

That puts the 13s in the same compact flagship category as the Samsung Galaxy S26 and iPhone 17, both of which also feature 6.3-inch displays.
The OnePlus 13s uses a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, giving it the smooth scrolling and punchy visuals you’d expect from a flagship. The smaller size also makes the phone much more comfortable to use one-handed, which is arguably the biggest reason for small-hand buyers to pick the 13s over the regular OnePlus 13.
And despite being smaller, OnePlus hasn’t really compromised on the display experience. The panel gets a 1.5K resolution, but with a smaller screen size, the pixel density reaches 460 PPI. So, you get sharper visuals along with HDR support and OnePlus’ RadiantView technology for better visibility outdoors.
The performance is also top-tier, well, at least by 2025 standards. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is still more than capable of handling pretty much anything you throw at it.

Sure, it may seem a bit dated now, considering it uses a previous-generation flagship chipset and newer Snapdragon platforms are already available. But let’s not forget that this was a flagship chipset just last year, and it still has plenty of performance left in the tank.
OnePlus is also generous with the memory variant, as we are getting 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage. So, there is more than enough RAM and storage for even heavy users.
Moving to optics, flagship phones usually have a complete camera setup that includes a main camera, telephoto, and an ultrawide. However, for the 13s, OnePlus opted out of the ultrawide setup, offering only a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor and a 50MP telephoto sensor.
It’s essentially the same setup as the OnePlus 13R, except for the ultrawide, of course.
To the front, you get a 32MP selfie shooter. Surprisingly, while the OnePlus 13s sits below the 13R in terms of overall camera versatility, the 13s can record videos at up to 4K, while the 13R is limited to 1080p on the front.
To handle all that, the 13s gets a 5,850mAh battery. And that’s where the phone starts to show its age a bit, especially for a phone launched more than a year ago.
In just one year, battery tech has come quite far, and we are now seeing 6,000mAh+ batteries become more common. Even rivals at this price point are offering bigger batteries.
I’m not saying that the OnePlus 13s is bad or anything. It should easily last more than a day for most users. It just won’t have the same endurance as some of the newer phones with larger batteries.
The second disadvantage is likely the Android version. It comes with Android 15 out of the box. Sure, there’s support for four years of Android OS updates, but since we are currently on Android 17, upgrading to the latest version means the 13s has only two major Android upgrades remaining.
So, that’s something to keep in mind if you plan on using the phone for several years. Apart from that, you get six years of security updates. But again, since we are already in 2026, you effectively have around five years of security updates remaining.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about the phone. Being more than a year old at this point, I thought it was a losing battle for the 13s. However, the phone still has quite a lot going for it.
Sure, it’s not a 2026-level flagship. But it’s still a 2025 flagship, and it remains more than relevant in terms of performance. The smaller and more manageable design is also a big plus for anyone who prefers compact phones. The lower battery capacity can be a limiting factor, but I don’t think it’s a deal-breaker.
However, I think the OnePlus 13R is a much better deal compared to the 13s if you’re specifically looking for an older OnePlus phone. It’s considerably cheaper, comes with a more complete camera setup, and packs a bigger battery.
And if you want a newer option, the OnePlus 15R offers similar performance and a bigger battery. The main thing you’ll be compromising on here is the telephoto camera.
So, while the OnePlus 13s is still a capable phone, its late arrival in Nepal makes the buying decision a bit harder than it would have been a year ago.
