Apple has increased the price of another iPhone. And this time, it’s the popular iPhone 15. This comes as a surprise, as the phone recently got a price drop, which lowered the price to Rs. 1,07,799.

What is the Price of the iPhone 15 in Nepal?
The iPhone 15 price in Nepal is Rs. 1,09,899 for the 128GB variant, which is the only trim currently available. Previously, the phone was priced lowered to Rs. 1,07,799 in December 2025. And now, just after one month, it has received a Rs. 2,100 price hike. It is available for purchase at authorized stores like Oliz Store and Evo Store.
The phone launched at Rs. 1,57,500 (128GB), Rs. 1,76,500 (256GB), and Rs. 2,14,500 (512GB) in October 2023. But now, only the 128GB variant is available in Nepal.

iPhone 15 Overview
Design

The iPhone 15 features an Aluminum frame along with a Ceramic Shield front. Apple claims that the front of the phone is tougher than any other smartphone glass. The IP68-rated phone weighs just 171 grams, making it lighter than the iPhone 14 by 1 gram. It’s also a bit smaller, with the sides being shaved off ever so slightly.
The back is a color-infused glass, and the phone is available in 5 color options: Black, Blue, and Pink.
The iPhone 15 also gets the Dynamic Island, previously exclusive to the Pro models. For those of you not familiar with it, the notch of the phone transforms into an island to display alerts and live activities. You can track your ride, see who’s calling, and much more on this island.

Display

The display is a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel. The display quality is immaculate as you’d expect from an iPhone. What’s not so great is the 60Hz refresh rate.
It really is a shame to see a basic-level refresh rate on a flagship-grade phone. Other than that, the display is top-class.
It features P3 Wide color along with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating to keep the display clean. The phone also peaks at 2000nits brightness outdoors under sunlight. The 1197×2556 resolution nets a ppi count of 460, making the display super sharp.
However, the Always-on display is not available on this non-Pro model.
Hardware

This year, the non-Pro models get the A16 Bionic from the last generation of Pro models. The performance of the A16 is something we’ve already seen, so we’ll not talk much about it.
Just know that this 4 nm-based Hexa Core (2×3.46 GHz Everest + 4×2.02 GHz Sawtooth) is one of the best in the business.
The phone came in 3 storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, out of which only the base model is available for purchase.
Camera

The iPhone 15 features a dual camera setup. A 48 MP f/1.6 main sensor, and a 12MP f/2.4 120˚ ultrawide. The Telephoto lens is exclusive to the pro models yet again.
Other than the telephoto lens, the 15 gets pretty much the same features, really. The main camera shoots high-resolution images, so you can crop in 2x and still retain good quality images.
However, it won’t and can’t really compare to optical zoom, so don’t fall for Apple’s marketing. The Photonic Engine is also available in this model, and normal photos with living subjects will retain depth information so that the image can be “converted” into a portrait image later on.
We all know how good the cameras and images on the iPhone are. The trend continues with the iPhone 15 as well.
For videos, the 15 can’t shoot 10-bit HDR videos or ProRes like the Pros, but it is a capable 4K@60fps shooter with Dolby Vision HDR.
The front has a 12MP f1.9 camera and can shoot up to 4K@60fps videos.
Battery and OS
Apple hasn’t specified the capacity of the battery, but made claims that the phone can last up to 20 hours of Video playback and up to 80 hours of Audio playback.
Just like the Pro models, the phone supports 7.5W Qi wireless charging and MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W. Apple also claims a 50% charge in around 30 minutes with a 20W adapter (sold separately).
The smartphone runs iOS 17 out of the box. For more details about the OS, you can go here.
iPhone 15 Price in Nepal and Availability
The iPhone 15 price in Nepal now sits at Rs. 1,09,899 (128GB) after getting a Rs. 2,100 price bump. The phone is available for purchase at authorized stores like Oliz Store and Evo Store.
| iPhone 15 | Price in Nepal (January 2026) |
|---|---|
| 128GB | Rs. |
| 256GB | Out of Stock |
| 512GB | Out of Stock |
The iPhone 15 also carries the same camera specs as the iPhone 16, which is a definite plus. Apple finally upgraded from the A15 to the A16 Bionic chip, which at the time of release felt like a breath of fresh air after seeing the A15 in both the iPhone 13 and 14.
Although the A16 isn’t quite as fast compared to Apple’s latest chips. And even with a slight price bump, the iPhone 15 still remains a solid choice, sitting in a sweet spot: it’s not as old as the iPhone 13 and not as expensive as the iPhone 16 or 17.
Possible Alternatives
At this price point, two Android options particularly stand out: the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Nothing Phone (3).
The Galaxy S25 has a lot to offer. It packs the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as the S25 Ultra, features a telephoto lens, and costs just a little over Rs. 1,00,000. In short, it delivers everything you’d want from a flagship phone.

The other option is the Nothing Phone (3). While it was technically marketed as a flagship, it runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a semi-flagship chip. That said, it still offers a 3x periscope telephoto lens and a clean, bloat-free software experience. At this price, it’s a compelling choice.
