Infinix recently launched Infinix Hot 9 Play in Nepal. And now they have launched Infinix Smart 5 in Nepal.

Infinix Smart 5 Overview

Design

Infinix Smart 5 has a plastic back and a plastic frame similar to the Hot 9 Play. Similarly, it has a glossy finish on the rear with an identical triple camera module.

On the front, it has a waterdrop notch.

Display

Infinix Smart 5 has a 6.6 inches IPS LCD display. It’s an HD+ panel with a screen resolution of 720 * 1600 pixels and has a ~83.2% screen-to-body ratio.

The display seems to be similar to the likes of Infinix Hot 9 Play.

Hardware

Underneath, the Smart 5 is powered by a MediaTek Helio A20 chipset. Along with that, it comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Helio A20 is a 12nm chipset with Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Helio A20 is an entry-level chipset that is very similar to the Helio A22 used on the Hot 9 Play. Helio A22 also rocks a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz and has PowerVR GE8300 GPU.

It’s a budget phone so, it won’t have good performance even while doing general tasks like browsing the internet. However, it provides generous 3GB RAM and 64GB storage for 13k.

Camera

Infinix Smart 5 has a triple-camera setup with a 13MP main sensor and a two QVGA sensor. The phone comes with a LED Flash as well and supports video up to 1080p@30fps.

On the front, it has a single 8MP sensor for selfies.

Battery

Infinix Smart 5 comes with a 5000 mAh battery which will last for more than a day. And, it comes with 10W charging.

Furthermore, it runs on Android GO on top of Android 10.
