This year, the Nepali smartphone market has flooded with A LOT of options ranging from dirt-cheap budget offerings all the way to top-of-the-line flagships. Honor Nepal has added yet another wave to the flood in the form of Honor X9c Smart.
What is the price of the Honor X9c Smart in Nepal?
Honor X9c Smart price in Nepal is Rs. 38,999 for the sole 12/256GB variant. It was launched on 4 April, 2025 and is available for purchase at all Honor-authorised stores in Nepal.
Based on the specs, it is on similar footing with the likes of Redmi Note 14 5G and Moto G64, which cost between Rs. 27,499 and Rs. 35,999 — depending on the variants. Hence, the pricing for the Honor X9c Smart isn’t ideal, to say the least.
But hey, you at least get the Honor Choice Headphones worth Rs. 7,999 for FREE with it!
Meanwhile, if you are thinking, didn’t Honor launch the X9c, like a few weeks earlier already? I wouldn’t blame you for mistaking this phone for that phone. This… that… what?
So, to put it simply, the Honor X9c Smart is actually a bit weaker spec-ed. Let’s discuss this phone in further detail in this article.

Honor X9c Smart Overview
Design
The Honor X9c Smart has a large circular ring for the camera setup — looking awfully similar to the notorious Huawei Mate 60. The Ocean Cyan option resembles the Huawei offering the most with identical colour and patterns.
This phone is available in two more colours: Moonlight White, and Midnight Black. The former carries similar pattern to the Cyan, while the Black one is plain and simple. Both these option have golden outline on their camera island, which reminded me of Gollum with the ring for some reason.
While the Honor X9c was big on durability, that’s really not the case for the Smart variant. The company still claims the phone can withstand drops of up to 2 metres, 3,000 cycle endurance against steel wool friction, and 360° full-body rinse protection.
That’s about it, no over the top claims over here. So, it has good levels of drop, scratch, and water resistance — all the things that really matter.
Display
The display on the Honor X9c Smart is a bit underwhelming, considering that it is a TFT LCD panel. However, we do get 8-bit colour depth, FHD+ resolution stretching 1,080 x 2,412 pixels, and smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
The screen is also sizable at 6.8 inches, while the brightness peaks at 850 nits. Other than that, the display is capable of DC dimming and supports touch commands even when your fingers are wet or greasy.
In the meantime, the panel on the Honor X9c Smart is flat, unlike its standard sibling which has much more premium-looking curved finish.

Hardware
Under the hood, we are getting the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra with the Honor X9c Smart. This silicone has 6nm fabrication, which is a step down from 4nm we got on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, we were getting on the non-Smart variant.
Additionally, the phone is equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is the only configuration the phone is available in. It allows users to convert 12GB of storage into virtual RAM, while there is no words on expansion support for the storage. This suggests that there is no slot for a microSD card — a bummer, for sure, but it’s not something unheard of either.
The battery on the Honor X9c Smart is a chunky 5,800mAh unit. Though a lot smaller than 6,000mAh on the standard X9c, is still one of the largest in the market right now. The charging isn’t half bad either at 35 watts.
Camera and OS
On to the optics department, we are getting pretty much the same lineup as the Honor X9c over here. This comprises of 108MP main sensor, an okay 5MP ultrawide snapper, and a 16MP front-facing unit.
Where these two phones differ is in the video department, where the Honor X9c Smart caps out at 1080p footage. Contrarily, the 49,000 rupees phone supports 4K recording.
The company has also sprinkled some “AI” when talking about its camera, however, the only feature that carries any weight is the AI Eraser.
Moving on to the software side of things, the phone boots on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. Users get to experience things like Magic Capsule, Parallel Space, and Magic Portal on the Honor X9c.

Honor X9c is a decent phone with a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, a 108MP main camera, and a 5,800mAh battery. However, its pricing is a bit higher compared to what it offers.
Hence, we will have to wait and see how the phone does, considering it does not have the whole “super durable” spiel going for it like its higher sibling.
