The Honor X series has always been known for its durability and long-lasting battery life. The same is the case with the Honor X7d.

But the big question is, does it actually bring anything new compared to the X7c before it, or is it just the same phone running on the latest version of Android? Let’s find out.
What is the Price of Honor X7d in Nepal?
The Honor X7d launched on 15 October in Nepal at Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 30,999 for the 8/256GB and 8/512GB variants, respectively. However, as the global RAM shortage drove up smartphone prices, the Honor X7d could not remain untouched.
As such, the latest price of Honor X7d in Nepal is Rs. 30,999 (8/256GB) and Rs. 32,999 (8/512GB). It is available to purchase at all authorized stores and retailers across the country.

Even though a few things are going for the Honor X7d, it ultimately does not appeal all that much. So, what’s going on with this phone?
Let’s dive into the detailed overview and see for ourselves:
Honor X7d Overview
The new Honor X7d follows a familiar design that’s entirely made of plastic. The phone also retains the SGS 5-Star certification. However, the IP rating has been bumped from IP64 to IP65. And, there is also a new physical AI Button on the left that lets you launch commands and apps with a single press.

On the front, you get a 6.77-inch TFT LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 6,500mAh battery, which is definitely one of the biggest highlights here, as it makes the Honor X7d the phone with the largest battery at this price range. Meanwhile, charging speed is capped at 35W, which is decent but not blazing-fast.
Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 685, the same 4G chipset found on the X7c. It’s decent for casual use, but phones like the HMD Crest Max and Samsung Galaxy A17 have superior processors at a similar price. Even phones like the Infinix Hot 60 Pro Series and the Redmi Note 15 rock a more powerful silicon, even though they are 4G-only as well.
To generate hype in the market, Honor Nepal was advertising the phone as having “Super Large Storage”, which led us to suspect the phone could be available in a 512GB variant alongside the lower 256GB trim. And we were right on the money!
As such, the Honor X7d became the cheapest 512GB phone in the market. It still holds on to the title despite the latest price hike, but barely. In the meantime, it pairs 8 gigs of memory with both storage options.
The camera remains the same as last time, with a 108MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. I expected an ultra-wide, considering rivals like the Moto G35 and HMD Crest Max offer one, and cost less. But that’s how it is. Lastly, up front, there’s a basic 8MP selfie camera capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30FPS.

Honor X7d Price in Nepal: Rs. 30,999 (8/256GB) | Rs. 32,999 (8/512GB)
Being the cheapest phone to offer 512GB storage, and the phone with the largest battery in the 30,000 segment, may make it sound like the Honor X7d is a great phone, but that’s far from the truth. The Snapdragon 685 doesn’t put enough power into it to make it relevant. The TFT LCD panel it has does not help its case either.
There are about half a dozen phones that you can pick over the Honor X7d, which we have listed in our best phones under Rs. 30,000 list.
But let’s say you want an Honor phone anyway. Then just add Rs. 1,000 to your budget and get the Honor X8c instead. You’ll have to compromise on the battery, sure. But you’ll get an AMOLED screen instead, which will definitely elevate your experience with the phone — even though the performance and storage are the same.
