Honor launched its budget offering, the X6c, back in July. The phone entered a crowded market where brands are stepping up with eye-catching features and competitive prices.

The phone got a price hike in light of the ongoing RAM shortage situation, just like every other phone. So, where does that put the Honor X6c? Let’s find out.
What is the Price of Honor X6c in Nepal?
The Honor X6c price in Nepal is Rs. 19,999 (6/128GB) and Rs. 21,999 (6/256GB). The phone is available to purchase at all Honor-authorized stores across Nepal.
It initially launched at Rs. 3,000 lower, but received a price hike sometime in January 2026. The phone was previously priced at Rs. 16,999 for the 6/128GB variant and Rs. 18,999 for the 6/256GB variant.
Looking at the history of the Honor X6 series, each new generation has seen some incremental downgrades. For instance, from the X6a to the X6b, the macro lens was dropped, something users weren’t exactly hoping for.
While certain upgrades, like the 120Hz refresh rate, are nice, other choices, such as the Helio G81 processor, feel questionable at this price point. Let’s see whether the X6c builds on the X8b, or falls short, starting with the specs.

Honor X6c Overview
Design
At first glance, the new Honor X6c looks nearly identical to its sibling, the X6b, especially with its squarish camera module featuring four circular cutouts. As with the previous model, only two are actual cameras accompanied by a flash, while the fourth cutout is purely decorative.

Like most budget phones, it features a plastic body. However, the addition of IP64-rated dust and water resistance is a welcome upgrade, as the previous model lacked any official ingress protection.
You’ll find the usual volume rocker and a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner on the right side. This year, there’s also a new addition: an AI button on the left—but more on that later.

Display
Moving to the front, the phone finally gets an upgrade from a 60Hz to a 120Hz refresh rate. But with most budget, even entry-level, phones already offering high refresh rates, this isn’t exactly groundbreaking. What’s more disappointing is that the X6c still uses a traditional TFT LCD panel, which means subpar viewing angles.
This is a letdown, especially when similarly priced phones like the HMD Crest and Infinix Hot 60 Pro offer an OLED display. Even more affordable options like the Redmi 14C come with IPS panels, making the X6c’s screen feel outdated by comparison.

On the plus side, the phone now features a punch-hole cutout for its selfie camera, which is a nod in the right direction, considering the budget.
The resolution remains mostly the same as last year, sticking to an HD+ (1604 x 720 pixels) panel. However, brightness gets a boost, with up to 1010 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM).
Unfortunately, like most budget phones, it still comes with a noticeably thick bottom bezel.
Hardware
Get ready for more disappointment as the MediaTek Helio G81 powers the phone. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad processor; in fact, it’s a popular choice for entry-level phones.
One such entry-level phone rocking the Helio G81 is the Play10, and can you guess which brand that phone is from? Yep, Honor itself. There is a massive Rs. 5,000 price difference between the 128GB variants of both phones. So, performance-wise, the Honor X6c is really weak!
As for memory, we are getting 6GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB internal storage. The global market also gets variants with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. However, we are missing out on that trim. Thankfully, there’s a microSD card slot if you need extra storage.
Battery-wise, there’s a minor upgrade with a 5,300mAh Li-Po cell that supports 35W Honor SuperCharge.
Cameras
The camera department remains unchanged, featuring the same 50MP main sensor alongside an auxiliary lens. Interestingly, this time, Honor hasn’t even bothered to mention the secondary lens in the official spec sheet—a sign of how insignificant it is.

On the front, you’re still getting the same 5MP selfie camera that’s been around since the Honor X6a. Both the front and rear cameras are limited to 1080p video recording at 30fps.
OS and AI
On the software side, the X6c runs Android 15 with Honor’s Magic OS 9 skin applied on top.
As for AI features, it includes an AI eraser and a dedicated AI button that can translate text, identify objects (circle-to-search), and solve basic math problems.
The button also lets you launch commands and access frequently launched apps. Now, this does not exactly fall in the “AI” realm, but is a nice feature nevertheless.
Honor X6c Price in Nepal and Availability
The Honor X6c price in Nepal is Rs. 19,999 (6/128GB) and Rs. 21,999 (6/256GB). It is available for purchase at all official stores across Nepal.
| Honor X6c | Launch Price | Price in Nepal |
|---|---|---|
| 6/128GB | |
Rs. 19,999 |
| 6/256GB | |
Rs. 21,999 |
The Honor X6c brings the fan-favorite G81 and places it in the Rs. 20,000 price bracket. My point is, at this price, it does not exactly scream VALUE FOR MONEY. Especially when we’re getting 5G phones like the HMD Crest for even less. If you really want an Honor phone and the same processor, you could pay 25% less for the Honor Play10!
The Honor X6c does not have any significant changes compared to the X6b. It’s got the same camera, the same TFT panel, and a similar design. The only noticeable upgrade is a new Android version and a 120Hz screen, which, to be honest, is standard on most phones these days. As for the AI button? Feels more like a gimmick than something useful.
But hey, maybe that’s just me.
