Honor 90 Lite Available for Purchase in Nepal: Features 100MP Camera!

In addition to the Honor 90, the Honor 90 Lite is also now available for purchase in Nepal. The Honor 90 series was introduced on August 9, 2023, in Nepal and was available for pre-order until August 15, 2023. The launch event also marked the debut of the Honor Watch 4 and the Honor Earbuds X5.

The Honor 90 Lite is the younger sibling of the Honor 90. It features MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 (7nm), a 100MP camera, and a 90 Hz 6.7-inch FHD+ LTPS LCD. In this article, we will discuss the specifications of the phone.

Honor 90 Lite Overview

Design

The Honor 90 Lite is a very sleek phone at only 7.48mm thickness with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and volume rockers on the right side of the phone.

It has one downward firing speaker for audio playback, whereas the sim tray has been moved to the left side of the phone. The phone has a soft touch finish at the back, and as claimed by Honor, it helps to hide smudges.

Display

The large 6.7-inch LTPS LCD has a hole punch camera in the center and thin bezels with a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio that gives the phone an immersive display.

The bezels are uniform all around the phone, and the 90Hz refresh rate is a welcome addition for smoother animations.

Hardware

The Honor 90 Lite is powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 6020 (7nm) processor. It is an octa-core processor with 2 Cortex-A76 at 2.2GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 at 2GHz while the graphics is handled by Mali-G57 MC2.

The phone is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Camera

The Honor 90 Lite features a triple camera setup with a 100MP f1.9 primary camera, 5MP f2.2 ultra-wide, and a 2MP f2.4 macro. Unfortunately, you can only shoot up to 1080p videos from the rear camera, whereas other competitors are offering 4K@30fps.

The front has a 16MP f2.45 selfie camera which is also capable of shooting up to 1080p videos and also supports 2D facial recognition.

Battery and OS

The phone has a 4500mAh battery with support for 22.5W wired charging and Honor claims you can get over 50% charge in half an hour. However, there is no support for wireless charging.

The smartphone runs on MagicOS 7.1, based on Android 13, out of the box. The company has promised 1 major Android update and 3 years of security updates.

Honor 90 Lite price in Nepal is Rs. 31,990 (8/256GB). You can buy it at official Honor stores or online at Hukut or Daraz. You can also get the phone with a 0% EMI option using a Machhapuchchhre Bank credit card.

The Honor 90 Lite is a mid-range smartphone with the Dimensity 6020 under the hood. It features a triple camera setup with a 100MP primary camera, 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens.

Furthermore, it has a 6.7-inch 90Hz LTPS LCD powered by a 4500mAh battery which supports 22.5W charging.
