Honor’s budget lineup has been a little dry for a long time. After 8A, there’s been very little progress in this department which has made the budget department a little lonely for honor. Well, Honor’s finally brought a new contender that can accompany the Honor 8A in the budget department.
The new bomb that’s been dropped recently in the budget segment in Nepal by Honor is called Honor 8A Lite. The Honor 8A Lite price in Nepal is set Rs 13,590. So, should you be concerned about the phone? Well, let’s find out.
Honor 8A Lite: A Quick Glance
The 8A Lite is on most levels similar to its superior, the Honor 8A; which is definitely a good sign. The chassis for instance is the same fragile yet modern glass sandwich design with the identical dewdrop notch up at the front.
Talking about the screen, it’s the casual 6.09” IPS LCD panel whose resolution tops out at 720p and a pixel density of 283 ppi. Diving deep, there’s the same old Octa core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The processor combined with 3/32GB internals is definitely not enough for smooth experience but day-to-day tasks should be no hassle at all.
Lastly, packed within the phone is a juicy 3,020 mAh battery that comes in with the standard 10W charger within the box. I know, it’s not enough but well what more can you expect from a budget device, right?

Honor 8A Lite Impressions
The Honor 8A Lite is a pretty confusing device. It’s the perfect carbon copy of the Honor 8A but its just priced a little low. Aside from the removal of the 64GB variant, there’s practically no difference at all. So, as it was before, the Honor 8A Lite is a phone that covers the bases of a phone pretty well. But that’s it.

It’s a bit different than the Redmi 8A that everyone is carrying nowadays but it’s definitely not better. If it’s the attributes that you’re after, it’s probably best that you go for the Redmi 8A. Redmi 8A manages to highlight each and every important attribute perfectly, which still makes it the go to phone for me.
