What is the Price of Honor 400 in Nepal?
The Honor 400 price in Nepal could be Rs. 61,999 (12/256GB) and Rs. 64,999 (12/512GB).
Honor Nepal has recently teased the Honor 400, 400 Pro, and 400 Lite on their official social media handles, making their launches in Nepal more imminent than ever.
The Honor 400 is the new and improved version of its predecessor, the Honor 300. However, since the 300 was exclusive to the Chinese market, the true global predecessor is the Honor 200.
The Honor 400 feels more like a refined refresh than a full-blown upgrade. While it introduces a revamped design and a slightly larger battery, it retains much of the same hardware — including the processor, main camera, and selfie shooter — but drops the telephoto lens found in the Pro variant.
Let’s take a closer look at what the Honor 400 brings to the table.

Honor 400 Overview
Design
The Honor 400, much like the Honor 200, features a flat frame — but this time, the flatness extends to both the front and back. This design shift makes the phone resemble the Honor 300.
One of the most striking design updates is the camera module. It now sports a bold, multi-angled cutout that looks heavily inspired by Huawei’s Pura series. What’s new, and quite welcome, is the addition of IP66 rating for dust and water resistance, a feature missing from the Honor 200.
The Honor 400 is available in four color options: Desert Gold, Meteor Silver, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black. However, it’s still uncertain which color options will officially launch in Nepal.

Display
The Honor 400 sports a flat 6.55-inch AMOLED display, and one of its most visually pleasing features is the symmetrical bezels, enhancing the overall immersion.
The display resolution stands at 1.5K (1264 x 2736 pixels), and thanks to the relatively compact size, it delivers a sharp 460ppi pixel density. This ensures that text, images, and videos appear crisp and detailed. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, now a standard for most smartphones in this range.
Brightness sees a notable upgrade as well, with peak brightness reaching up to 5,000 nits, compared to the Honor 200’s 4,000 nits. This makes the screen highly legible even under direct sunlight. The panel is HDR-capable and houses an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for secure biometric unlocking.
Other notable features include a full-screen always-on display and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, which helps minimize eye strain during prolonged usage.
Hardware
Things are a bit stale in the hardware department, as the Honor 400 still rocks the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 — the same chip we’ve been seeing since the Honor 100. It’s paired with the Adreno 720 GPU to handle graphics.
The phone comes with 12GB of RAM, and you can choose between 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot — so what you get is what you’re stuck with.
To help keep thermals in check, Honor has included a vapor chamber cooling system.
Camera and AI
The camera department is another letdown with just a dual-camera setup. While the 200MP main sensor sounds impressive on paper, the omission of the 50MP telephoto lens from the Honor 200 is puzzling — especially when even budget phones are starting to offer some form of telephoto zoom.
Complementing the main sensor is a 12MP ultra-wide lens, which is decent for capturing wider shots, but again, the lack of a dedicated zoom option limits the camera’s versatility.
On the front, there’s a 50MP sensor housed in a punch-hole cutout. Both the rear and selfie cameras support video recording up to 4K at 30fps.
HONOR has also loaded the camera app with a suite of AI-powered features like Motion Sensing Capture, Remove Reflection, and others to make mobile photography more intuitive.
One particularly interesting addition is the AI Image to Video feature, which can turn still images into short videos. The catch? It’s free, only for a limited time.
Battery and OS
The Honor 400 packs a 6,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, and thanks to this advanced battery tech, the phone maintains an impressively slim profile at just 7.3mm thickness.
When it comes to charging, the Honor 400 supports a blazing-fast 100W wired charging via the included adapter. It also includes 5W reverse wired charging. According to Honor, the battery is rated for 4 years of durability, which adds extra peace of mind for long-term users.
Software-wise, it ships with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 right out of the box. Even more impressive is that Honor promises 6 years of major Android updates, putting it on par with Samsung’s premium budget lineup in terms of long-term software support.
Honor 400 Price in Nepal and Availability
The Honor 400 price in Nepal could be Rs. 61,999 (12/256GB) and Rs. 64,999 (12/512GB). The phone is expected to launch soon, as it has been officially teased for Nepal.
Honor 400 | Price in Nepal [Expected] |
---|---|
12/256GB | Rs. 61,999 |
12/512GB | Rs. 64,999 |
To be honest, the Honor 400 is a bit of a letdown, especially considering how much the phone has been stripped down. It features the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset that Honor has been using since the Honor 100, and surprisingly, the telephoto lens seen on the Honor 200 is no longer present.
The only notable upgrade is in the battery department, with a larger 6,000mAh capacity. Unless Honor significantly lowers the price, the phone doesn’t seem to offer much value compared to its predecessors.
