GWM Ora 03 EV: Bookings Open in Nepal for 400KM Range Marvel!

GWM Ora 03 EV is officially available in Nepal for 2024.

VG Impex, the authorized distributor of GWM in Nepal, has introduced its first-ever electric hatchback for the Nepali market.

With its reintroduction, GWM Nepal renamed it as Ora 03 EV, initially sporting different names like the Good Cat and Funky Cat.

Initially, the Ora R1 would have been the first GWM EV for the market. However, that has been delayed due to unforeseeable circumstances. As for now, GWM Nepal continues its focus on the Ora 03 EV.

It is a premium hatchback, combining a funky design with modern EV features.

Interestingly enough, GWM Nepal introduced the Ora 03 as the Ora Good Cat across three variants last year. However, the company has opted for a single variant option to avoid customer confusion.

GWM Ora 03 EV Overview

Design

Like every other GWM car, the Ora 03 is different.

It sports an outstanding design philosophy, combining retro aesthetics with a futuristic undertone.

The front section comes with circular Intelligent LED headlamps with integrated LED Indicators.

Moreover, the hood section is kept sleeker with its slopping styling. And, there are two chromed slits beside the Active Air Intake grille.

Other than that, the Ora 03 also maintains minimalism for the side profile.

It gets a chrome line at the windows, body-colored door handles, and a unique wheel design.

Surprisingly, the rear profile is the quirkiest in this EV.

GWM Ora 03 is powered by a 99kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). It can generate a max power of 134PS and a max torque of 210Nm.

It is supported by the 47.7kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery. Moreover, it can fully charge in 8 hours with a claimed range of 400 km.

Ora 03 is developed from the ground up, based on a 100% Pure EV Platform. Thanks to that, the Ora 03 excels in both performance and safety features.

It has even garnered a 5-Star Safety Rating in both ANCAP and EURO ANCAP.
