Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z Overview
Design
Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z is inspired by Fighter Jets.
It is aerodynamically designed with muscular aesthetics. While it is a new generation Pulsar, there are hints of past Pulsar design.
The front section has a hint of Dominar and N250, whereas the rear section has the NS200 look to it.
It gets an LED Projector Headlamp with Signature LED Lightning Bolt DRLs. The entire lighting setup is full of LEDs, complete with LED Indicators and LED Tail lamps.
The front section is further highlighted by the Champagne Gold USD Forks and Stylish 5-Step Adjustable Brake and Clutch Levers.

Moreover, the side section gets extra cladding to further enhance its beefness.
Unfortunately, the tank section and the rear section feel all too familiar to the NS 200. As a result, the new NS 400Z may feel like a mixed breed of Pulsar rather than a brand-new one.
Additionally, Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z comes in Brooklyn Black, Glossy Racing Red, Pewter Grey, and Pearl Metallic White.
Performance
Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z is powered by a 373.27cc, Single-Cylinder, Liquid-cooled, DLC-coated FI engine. It can generate a max power of 40PS at 8800rpm and a max torque of 35Nm at 6500rpm.
Additionally, it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox (with Slipper Clutch) and a 12-liter fuel tank capacity.
While the engine has been borrowed from the Dominar 400, there is a slight new remapping that leans NS400Z to a sportier side.
Plus, there is a major upgrade in the electronics department as well.
NS 400Z comes equipped with Electronic Traction Control which is Switchable in Sports and Off-road Mode.
Ride Modes are yet another intriguing update, available in Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road modes. These modes optimize both the engine performance and ABS intrusion in the real world.
Additional Details
43mm USD Forks and 6-Step Adjustable Monoshock handle suspension duties.
It has a 320mm front disc and 230mm rear disc. Moreover, the dual-channel ABS is standard but switchable on road, rain, sports, and off-road.
Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z gets a 168mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 174kg.
Interestingly enough, the Pulsar NS 400Z now features wider 110/70-section front and 140/70-section rear 17-inch tyres. However, there is still no Radial option.

Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z Price in Nepal and Availability
Talking about the pricing, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z is Rs. 5,59,900.
It was unveiled at the NADA Auto Show 2024. However, it should be noted that the Rs. 5.59 Lakhs price tag is just an introductory offer.
It is subject to change down the line.
Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z is officially available in Nepal, and interested individuals can visit the nearest Bajaj showroom for bookings.
The following table lists the Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z price in Nepal for December 2024.
Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z | Price in Nepal |
---|---|
Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z | Rs. 559900 |
Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z rivals the Bajaj Dominar 400.
Both the NS 400 and Dominar 400 are technically siblings. Both share the same engine, but the Pulsar is more modern and updated.
The Dominar 400 engine performed better. However, the experience was a bit lacking thanks to its more than necessary kerb weight.
The heavier kerb weight limits the level of performance that can be extracted from the motorcycle.
That is why, being 18 kilos lighter with a lower introductory than the Dominar 400 will help riders get a better power-to-weight ratio and value than before.
That is the most exciting part of the Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z.
