Asus ZenBook 14 UX435 with ScreenPad and 11th Gen Intel CPU Launched in Nepal

Asu Nepal has launched the new ZenBook 14 UX435EG in Nepal along with the updated ZenBook 14 UX425 and ZenBook 13 UX325.

Asus Zenbook 14 UX435 price in Nepal is Rs. 153,333 (i5) and Rs. 176,667 (i7). It is available at retail stores and nagmani.com.np.

This is the upgraded version of the newly launched ZenBook 14 UX425 that features a secondary ASUS ScreenPad. Let’s check it out in brief!

Asus ZenBook 14 UX435EG Overview

Design

The new ZenBook 14 UX435EG carries the same design language as the UX425. It weighs just 1.19 kg but is slightly thicker at 16.9 mm.

The laptop comes with two Thunderbolt ports both of which support Power Delivery and DisplayPort via USB-C. They support fast charging, up to two 4K UHD external displays for an expanded visual workspace, and up to 40 Gbps data speeds for ultrafast file transfers. Then it has a full-size HDMI port, a USB Type-A port, and a micro SD reader along with Audio Jack.

ZenBook UX435 comes with the same edge-to-edge ergonomic keyboard design that increases the size of the keyboard for a more comfortable typing experience.

Instead of the touchpad doubling as the Numpad, it features a ScreenPad. It is an interactive secondary 5.65-inch color touchscreen. Its upgraded ScreenXpert 2.0 interface presents a more intuitive interface design, with the operation that’s focused on the user experience — with smoother processing between screens and personalized multitasking workflows.

As well, the Link to MyASUS feature available with ScreenXpert 2.0, allows phone calls to be made via ScreenPad: just pair ZenBook 14 (UX435EG) with a phone and it’s ready to go.

ScreenPad also functions as a standard glass-covered precision touchpad, with intelligent palm rejection and four-finger smart-gesture support.

Furthermore, it is also using the ErgoLift hinge mechanism which tilts the keyboard to an optimum angle when the lid is open and creates a space under the laptop for better airflow.

The new ZenBooks are also using ASUS NumberPad 2.0 which is a dual function touchpad with an integrated LED-illuminated full-size numeric keypad. Simply tap the icon on the touchpad turns the NumberPad on and off.

Display

ASUS Zenbook 14 has a 14-inch glossy display with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It uses a good IPS panel with a good viewing angle and a peak brightness of 300 nits. This bright and clear display has a wide, 100% sRGB color gamut to ensure vivid colors.

The bezels on the new ZenBooks are very thin and ASUS calls it NanoEdge display which boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 92%.

Hardware

ASUS ZenBook 14 UX435 is equipped with an 11th Gen Intel Core-i5-1135G7 or Intel Core-i7-1165G7 processor, 8GB/16GB (on i7 variant) 4266 MHz LPDDR4x RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe Gen 3 SSD.

For silky-smooth visuals, ZenBook 14 (UX435EG) is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 discrete GPU.

The latest 11th Generation Intel® Core™ processors in ZenBook 14 deliver enhanced performance that makes light work of multitasking, productivity, and entertainment. ZenBook 14/13 also features ultrafast PCIe® 3.0 x4 SSDs and the latest Intel WiFi 6 with Gig+ (802.11ax) for superb all-round performance.

For audio, ZenBook UX435EG uses speakers certified by audio specialists Harman Kardon to ensure immersive, crystal-clear sound for communications or entertainment. It also supports the ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround sound.

Battery

ASUS Zenbook UX435EG has a 67 Wh battery and Asus claims up to 21 hours of battery life on the 14-inch model.

It also supports fast charging that can restore the battery to a 60% charge level in just 49 minutes.

ASUS ZenBook UX435 price in Nepal is Rs. 176,667 (i7) and Rs. 153,333 (i5). They come in Pine Grey and Lilac Mist color. They are now available via retail stores and online at nagmani.com.np.

ASUS ZenBook 14 UX435EG is the new entry in the ZenBook series. These look similar to the likes of ZenBook 14 UX425 with the addition of the ScreenPad. Also, it comes with Nvidia’s GPU. Else, it has the same design and carries the same hardware configuration.
