Vivo has just launched the Vivo Y01 in Nepal. It’s the latest addition to the company’s Y-series lineup.
The Vivo Y01 price in Nepal is Rs. 13,999 (2/32GB). It is available to buy at Vivo authorized stores across Nepal.
Unlike the recently launched Vivo Y33s, which was announced in August 2021, the Y01 is a smartphone that was recently announced in March 2022. However, it still comes equipped with an outdated MediaTek Helio P35.

Vivo Y01 Overview
Design
The Vivo Y01 has a plastic build with a rectangular camera bump on the rear. It comes in two colours: Sapphire Blue and Elegant Black. Both the colour options have a striped pattern on the rear.
The power and volume buttons are on the right side of the phone. Unfortunately, the global variant does not have a fingerprint sensor. On the bottom, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port, and a mono speaker.

Display
The 6.51-inch IPS LCD display on the device has an HD+ (1600 x 720) resolution.
Identical to every other budget phone, it also features a waterdrop notch and a relatively large chin.
Hardware
The Vivo Y01 is powered by an entry-level MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The SoC has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU and an octa-core CPU consisting of eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores, four of which are clocked at 2.35GHz and the rest at 1.8GHz.
It’s the same old processor that powers the Vivo Y15s and Vivo Y1s. As for the memory, it comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Camera
The device has a single 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
It can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and OS
A 5000mAh battery fuels the Vivo Y01. It supports 10W charging.
In terms of software, the smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 (Go edition).
