OnePlus debuted its first TV in Nepal in April of this year, following the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. It was a 43-inch TV, part of the Y-series. Specifically, the OnePlus 43Y1. Now, the company has launched a smaller 32-inch Y-series TV in Nepal named OnePlus 32Y1.

The OnePlus 43Y1 TV price in Nepal is Rs. 69,990. However, it’s currently available at an offer price of Rs. 55,990.

Similarly, the OnePlus 32Y1 TV price in Nepal is Rs. 49,990. But, after the discount, you can get it for Rs. 39,990. The TVs are available at OnePlus authorised stores across Nepal.

The 43Y1 and 32Y1 are the 43-inch and 32-inch models in the OnePlus’ Y series TV, respectively. The company launched the TV in Nepal two years after its announcement.

OnePlus 43Y1 and 32Y1 Overview

Design

The OnePlus 43Y1 and 32Y1 TV are both entirely made of plastic, from the frame to the stand. This is one of the reasons why both TVs are so lightweight. The 43Y1 weighs only 6kg and the 32Y1 weighs only 3.57kg, both with the stand included.

The bezels are quite thin on all sides. The bottom is slightly thicker and has a glossy finish with the OnePlus logo in the centre.

In terms of ports, it has two HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, an ethernet port, an RF connection input, an RCA connection input, and an optical audio output port. which enables audio to be sent from the TV to an HDMI ARC-compatible speaker.

Display

The 43Y1 television has a 43-inch display with a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, while the 32Y1 TV has a smaller 32-inch display with an HD (1366 x 768) resolution. OnePlus claims the OnePlus 43Y1 and 32Y1 can cover 93% of DCI-P3 colour space and have an 88.5% and 91.4% screen-to-body ratio, respectively.

According to OnePlus, the TV is equipped with a suite of technologies dubbed the “Gamma Engine” that is intended to improve picture quality. It includes a range of processing enhancements, such as dynamic contrast, color space mapping, anti-aliasing, and noise reduction.

Hardware

The company has not disclosed what processor powers the TV. However, they do mention that it has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.

For connectivity, the Android television supports Wi-Fi 4 with IEEE 802.11b/g/n compatibility and Bluetooth 5.0. Additionally, it has a 20W 2.0 channel dual speaker setup with Dolby Audio support.

Software

The OnePlus 43Y1 and 32Y1 both run on Android TV 9.0 OS. They come with video streaming platforms including Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube. You can also download other TV apps from Google Play Store.

The TV also has Chromecast built-in and supports voice control using Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. In addition, the TV has the OnePlus Connect app. The app lets users control the TV by using a phone.

The OnePlus 43Y1 and 32Y1 are TVs running on the older Android 9 for TV. The TV series was announced in 2020 in India. It has a good-looking design with slim bezels.
