Xiaomi’s TV A Pro series is back with a new generation, as the Xiaomi TV A Pro 2026 Series officially launched in Nepal on October 1, 2026. The lineup brings Xiaomi’s familiar mix of 4K QLED displays and smart TV features in 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes.

It arrived fashionably late, as the series debuted in regional markets in 2025 while Nepal was still getting the A Pro 2025 lineup. So, yes, Nepal is getting the “new” generation a little after the rest of the party, but it has finally arrived with a wider lineup in tow.

So, what has Xiaomi brought along this time, and is the wait worth it? Let’s take a closer look.

Xiaomi launched the TV A Pro 43 2025 in Nepal at Rs. 54,999, while the 65-inch QLED version debuted at Rs. 119,999. So, at launch, the 2026 models are asking considerably more money for the same broad 4K QLED formula.

That does not automatically make the new series bad value. But it does mean the 2026 A Pro has a bigger burden of proof. A prettier bezel is nice. A newer model number is nice. At this price, however, the TV needs to show where your extra rupees are actually going.

So, let’s get into the television itself.

Xiaomi TV A Pro Series 2026 Overview

Design-wise, Xiaomi has opted for a sleek, minimalist look with a metal finish, ultra-thin bezels, and a high screen-to-body ratio. All three models available in Nepal feature a dark-grey metal frame and a plastic dual-stand setup.

On the display side, all three models feature 4K QLED with a 3840 × 2160-pixel resolution, 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and support for up to 1.07 billion colours. They also support HDR10+, HLG, and Filmmaker Mode.

The 1.07-billion-colour claim comes with a small footnote, though. Xiaomi uses an 8-bit + FRC panel rather than a native 10-bit panel. Still, the bigger change for 2026 comes in the feature department.

The A Pro 2026 retains a native 60Hz refresh rate, just like its predecessor, but Xiaomi has added Game Boost, which can push the refresh rate to 120Hz over HDMI. There is a catch: 120Hz is limited to 1080p resolution. So, this is not a 4K 120Hz gaming TV, although the higher refresh rate can still come in handy for smoother gameplay when Full HD is enough.

The TVs also get MEMC support up to 4K at 60Hz, which is designed to make fast-moving content look smoother.

Behind all those pretty pixels sits a quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU paired with a Mali-G52 MC1 GPU, along with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. That same memory configuration is available across all 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models.

It is not exactly a powerhouse setup, but then again, your TV does not need a Snapdragon 8 Elite to stream Netflix. For everyday streaming, browsing, and switching between apps, the hardware works fine.

The audio setup is the same across all three models, with dual 10W speakers delivering 20W of total output. They also support Dolby Audio, DTS, and DTS Virtual, while Xiaomi Sound automatically adjusts the sound profile based on the content.

For everyday viewing, whether it’s YouTube, news, cricket, or the occasional movie, the built-in speakers should be enough. But a 20W TV setup is still a 20W TV setup, so those audio-enhancement features can only do so much.

Nothing groundbreaking, but Xiaomi has made a few practical additions to the A Pro 2026. It now supports Google Assistant, Google Cast, Miracast, and Apple AirPlay 2, making it easier to cast content from Android and Apple devices. The Bluetooth remote also supports 360-degree coverage and voice commands through Google Assistant.

For connectivity, the Xiaomi A Pro 2026 series comes with three HDMI ports, with HDMI 2 supporting eARC and ALLM, along with one USB 2.0 port, Ethernet, optical audio output, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi. So, there is enough room for the usual suspects: your console, set-top box, soundbar, and streaming stick.

Power consumption naturally goes up with screen size. The 43-inch model is rated at 75W, while the 55-inch and 65-inch models are rated at 130W and 180W, respectively. All three support a 200-240V, 50/60Hz power supply, with standby power capped at 0.5W and an operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.

The A Pro 2026 runs Google TV, with Xiaomi moving from the Android 11-based software on the previous generation to Android 14-based Google TV for the new series. However, with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, the software experience will have to do some juggling as the years pile on.

Inside the box, Xiaomi keeps things simple: the TV, power cable, safety and installation documents, two base components, a screw kit, and a Bluetooth remote control. No treasure hunt here, just everything you need to get the TV assembled and switched on.

The Xiaomi TV A Pro 2026 is not a dramatic reinvention. And honestly, that is probably fine.

Xiaomi has already carved out a familiar spot in Nepal’s TV market, with its televisions earning a fairly good reputation for offering plenty of features without going too far up the price ladder. The A Pro 2026 sticks to that familiar formula, bringing 4K QLED, HDR10+, Google TV, AirPlay 2, and Game Boost across three sizes.

But while the feature sheet looks busy, some of the fundamentals remain fairly modest. The panel is still natively 60Hz, the 120Hz mode is limited to 1080p, and storage sits at 8GB.

And then there is the price. Xiaomi’s A Pro lineup is known for budget-friendly prices, but if the size gets bigger, it is asking for a noticeably bigger investment. Overall, the A Pro 2026 is not a bad follow-up to a well-liked TV lineup.
