Realme P4 Power Arrives in Nepal — A Bit Too Late?

Picture this: you’re still at the start of 2026, the memory crisis was yet to get so bad, and a wave of phones launched — the Honor Win, the Honor Power 2, and the Realme P4 Power — all making headlines. Why, you ask? All of them were rocking batteries with a capacity of 10,000mAh or more!

Ahhhhh, good times! The latter of those highlighted phones, i.e. the realme P4 Power, just debuted in Nepal, which is great! But it might be a bit late to the party. But before we get into that, let’s discuss the price.

What is the Price of realme P4 Power in Nepal?

The realme P4 Power price in Nepal is Rs. 76,999 for the sole 12/256GB variant, available at all realme-authorised stores in the country. No offers or bundles seem to be attached to the phone currently.

The phone seems to be priced too steeply, as the same variant goes for INR 37,999 in India, which converts to just Rs. 60,800 in Nepali currency. But every phone is being priced steeply these days, so I don’t even feel like complaining.

I’m just gonna say it is what it is, and move on.

Now! Let’s get back to the “being late to the party” bit.

As I hinted earlier, the realme P4 Power actually launched in January 2026. But it did not arrive in Nepal until 25 September 2026 — eight whole months later. In that time, a lot happened.

Firstly, it did not get to be the first 10,000mAh battery phone in Nepal, despite being one of the first mainstream smartphones to hit the mark globally. The title went to the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, which also just launched in September. As a result, the realme P4 Power lost a genuine marketing edge.

Next is the inevitable memory crisis, which has obviously inflated the phone’s cost, as we briefly touched on in the pricing segment. Had realme introduced this phone sooner, they could have priced the P4 Power much more favourably.

10,000mAh battery phone and good pricing? That sounds like a concoction of selling phones like hotcakes. But alas, here we are!

Despite the timing mishap, the realme P4 Power still looks like a more-than-okay pick with decent overall specs. Let’s dive into that side of the story:

realme P4 Power Overview

The phone somewhat reminds me of the realme GT 6T Pro with its curved silhouette and darker-toned strip going across the camera unit. But the realme P4 Power has more intricacies. It not only has dotted patterns across the strip, but it also shows half of what appears to be a coil.

realme says this coil “blends tech aesthetics with functional engineering”, which made me think that it might be a heat sink. But it could just be marketing fluff that you shouldn’t pay attention to.

Furthermore, realme partnered with India’s leading design school, Pearl Academy, to design the P4 Ultra in a way that appeals to Gen Z. And as a Gen Z myself, the partnership is definitely leading somewhere because I do find the design appealing. Thankfully, the phone isn’t just pretty-looking and is tuff as well, with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings.

The phone’s display is a 6.8-inch AMOLED with a 1,280 x 2,800 pixels resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The brand is calling it a “4D Curved+ Display”, which is nothing but a complicated way of saying the display is curved on all four sides. Other than that, the screen is overlaid with Gorilla Glass 7i for added protection.

The performance side of things is pretty interesting too. The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 is its primary power source, which is quite a popular and reliable processor. Whatever. But realme has also given the P4 Ultra a secondary Hyper Vision+ AI chip.

What does this chip do? Upscales resolution, boosts frame rates, and enhances HDR in displayed content. According to realme, this chip helps improve resolution and frame rate by up to 300% and 400%, respectively. Basically, the Hyper Vision+ chip helps the phone utilise its display to the fullest.

This chip apparently also benefits gaming by lowering power consumption. But I feel that’s a non-issue considering this phone has a WHOPPING 10,001mAh battery!

Yep, realme added just 1mAh to the P4 Power’s total cell capacity — likely so they can market it as a 10,000mAh+ phone. It also creates a palindrome, which weirdly satisfies something inside me.

This impressive battery of the realme P4 Power is paired with an equally impressive 80W charging speed. The brand is confident enough to claim half a day’s worth of endurance with just a 5-minute plug-in.

Additionally, this phone can fast-charge other devices at speeds of up to 27W! So, the realme P4 Power can also double down as a power bank. I guess that’s why it has “Power” in its name.

The cameras on the realme P4 Power don’t look half as bad either, with a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS serving as the main camera. Likewise, the auxiliary lens is a modest 8MP unit with an ultrawide field of view. Meanwhile, a 16MP sits on the front for selfies.

As for software, it boots on Android 16 with realme UI 7 skin on top and is set to receive three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. realme also ships the P4 Power with a few AI features like a generative photo editor, emoji maker, quick replies during gaming, and aiming assist in shooter games.

We already discussed how the realme P4 Power lost its marketing edge to the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max because of the delayed release. But it’s not like the phone doesn’t make a case for itself.

When you compare the realme P4 Ultra with Redmi’s 12/256GB variant, realme is actually the more affordable option. However, Redmi also offers an 8GB variant which costs Rs. 10,000 less. Since 4GB less RAM won’t matter to most people, Redmi comes out as the more attractive offer.

That’s only when you compare the 10,000mAh giants head-to-head. If you want a more performance-centric phone or a camera-focused phone, or even an overall balanced phone, there are many phones at this price that will compel you to look away from the realme P4 Power.
