Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has introduced the “Made-in-Nepal” Hyundai Creta in Nepal.

In 2024, Hyundai reintroduced the Creta in Nepal with a facelift that brought significant upgrades. The refreshed model showcased a bold exterior redesign, a more refined interior, and a host of new features.

Fast forward to today, Hyundai Nepal has taken a major step by assembling the facelifted Creta locally. As a result, the price of the Creta in Nepal has decreased.

Design

The front of the new Hyundai Creta Facelift has some significant updates.

The most noticeable change is the introduction of Block-like Elements, starting with Square-Shaped LED DRLs accompanied by Sequential Turn Indicators.

The new Quad-Beam LED Headlamps replace the previous trio-beam setup, adding to the vehicle’s futuristic look. Additionally, the redesigned Parametric Jewel Grille gives the front a more robust appearance.

The bumper now has a gunmetal finish, adding to the overall squarish front profile, which is a departure from the overly stylized previous design.

The side profile of the Creta Facelift remains largely unchanged from its predecessor.

The subtle changes are primarily in the design of the alloy wheels, which now have a more refined look. The chromed door handles and the distinctive Lightning Arch C-Pillar continue to give the Creta its characteristic style.

The rear of the new Creta Facelift features notable changes.

The updated model includes connected LED tail lamps and Sequential Turn Indicators. Like the front, the rear bumper now has a gunmetal finish and includes design accents that enhance the overall aesthetic.

The interior of the new Hyundai Creta Facelift showcases significant updates.

The dashboard now has a more horizontal layout, providing a sleek and modern feel. Two 10.25-inch screens come as standard, one being the infotainment screen and the other the instrument cluster.

The instrument cluster is fully digital and looks much more modern. Furthermore, the Creta now features an ADAS screen with ADAS Level 2!

The Creta also includes many physical buttons, which add a tactile element to the controls.

Notable new features such as Dual-Zone Climate Control and a 360-Degree Camera are one of the highlights of the new Creta.

While the seats remain the same, the upholstery has been updated, and copper-colored lines on the edges match the trims on the dashboard.

The 8-speaker Bose Audio System remains unchanged.

Also, the Creta is available in 5 different colors: Black, Emerald Pearl, Red, White, Grey.

Performance

Hyundai Creta comes in 5 different variants but all with a Petrol Engine.

The 1.5L MPi Petrol Engine can generate a max power of 115PS at 6000 rpm and a max torque of 143.8 Nm at 4500 rpm. Also, the fuel tank is 50 Liters.

Moreover, it will be available in 6-speed Manual Transmission or Intelligent Variable Transmission (CVT). 

Creta features Three Drive Modes: Comfort, Eco, and Sport. There is an additional option to adjust Traction Control.

Also, Creta with its 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine and 6-speed manual transmission (MT) accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in around 12.2 seconds.

Meanwhile the IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission) version takes approximately 13.36 seconds.

However, the top speed is 195 km/h for both transmission options.

Hyundai Creta Facelift version competes with the Skoda Kushaq.
