MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers in Nepal, has introduced its second newest scooters for 2023.
Following the launch of the much-anticipated launch of Yamaha Aerox 155, Ray ZR 125 Hybrid looks to do the same.
It brings new graphics updates including a boost in convenience features.

All three variants come with Front Disc brakes! DLX and Premium Plus variants feature the Racing Blue color, whereas the STD variant comes in standard colors.
Between the DLX and Premium Plus options, the Premium Plus includes extra features like LED Indicators, Foot Matt with Plate, and Saree Foot Rest.
Yamaha has also introduced a Drum braking-only option in its Hybrid lineup.

Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Hybrid Overview
Design
There is no major design change between the Standard Ray ZR and Hybrid Ray ZR. Nonetheless, it introduces a few new updates that give scooters a fresher appeal.
The “Armor Energy” design concept remains unchanged.
It still has the bulkier yet sharper styling. Elements like a Y-shaped LED DRL, Bulbed Side Indicators, and a Semi-Transparent Black Visor remain unchanged.
The front section includes a brand-new LED Headlamp.
Similarly, the instrument display gets a minor upgrade too. It supports Y-Connect with Call Notifications, SMS alerts, Smartphone Battery levels, and more.

Interestingly enough, the body panel and position are also the same. But, the graphics now feel a bit more premium and sporty.
And, the Disc variants get colored rims!

Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Hybrid is powered by a 125cc, Single-Cylinder, Air-cooled, Hybrid FI engine. It generates a max power of 8.2PS at 6500rpm and a max torque of 10.3Nm at 5000rpm.
