Xiaomi Nepal has confirmed the launch of yet another new handset. Issuing a press statement, the company said that it will be launching the latest Redmi Note series, Redmi Note 5A Prime this coming week.
Like many of the Xiaomi phones, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime is the mid-range successor. The company has not revelated the price of this device. However, we expect the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime price in Nepal to be in between Rs. 22,000 – Rs. 25,000.
Specifications Outline
This device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset with octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The screen is 5.5-inches IPS LCD display with Gorilla glass protection. It comes in 3GB/4GB variant running Adreno 505 graphics processor. The internal storage is 32GB/64GB. It is expandable up to 256GB via microSD.
It features 13MP rear-camera, f/2.2 with standard features. And 16MP with f2.0 selfie-camera. Note 5A Prime focus more on a selfie with “selfie-light” and “Pixel binning”. This provides clear, sharper and improve noise ratios in the final image. The device runs on decent non-removable Li-Ion 3080 mAh battery.

The current smartphone market is competitive. Redmi Note 5A Prime is a mid-range smartphone. It must stand-out among the competitors. Looking at its specs, Redmi continues to surprise us. The device packs impressive hardware at a reasonable price. It supports the latest MIUI 9.0 with Android Nougat.
The device focuses more on camera. The device packs a punch with remarkable 16MP selfie camera.The little things do make a huge difference.
Compared to the Redmi Note 5A, this device is definitely an upgrade on hardware and software. In my opinion, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A prime is worth checking out.
