X-AGE ConvE Serene Open Earbuds Launched in Nepal

X-Age has launched its latest earbuds in Nepal with the introduction of the X-Age ConvE Serene, a set of open-design wireless earbuds.

Claiming to offer good sound quality as well as transparency, X-Age ConvE Serene earbuds feature an open design along with a hook for a comfortable fit.

Design

The X-Age ConvE Serene, a pair of hooked earphones, naturally boasts a larger footprint compared to your average wireless earbuds, a characteristic evident in both the earbuds and the accompanying case.

The case is a matte black clamshell-design unit that has the X-Age logo on the center of the top lid. Positioned on the front are the status LEDs, while the USB-C charging port is located to the right of the case.

Regarding the earbuds, the primary unit features a rectangular-shaped body. On one side, it houses touch controls, status LEDs, and the X-Age logo, while the bottom side accommodates the speaker grille and the charging pins.

The hooks are non-removable and have the battery units enclosed in metal attached at the end.

The ConvE Serene TWS earbuds come with basic bread-and-butter TWS functions like onboard music controls, receiving/declining phone calls, and activating voice assistants on your mobile device. The controls are touch-activated and are situated on the earbuds’ main body.

The ConvE Serene open earbuds do not come with any passive or active noise-canceling features. X-Age claims that the earbuds are IPX5 water-resistant as well.

Naturally, with the loss of noise isolation and the earbuds not being as close to your ears, they sound somewhat muted and do not provide as good sound as your typical in-ear headphones or earbuds even with the inclusion of large 14mm drivers.

The ConvE Serene comes equipped with a 450mAh battery in its case and a 70mAh battery in each earbud. According to X-Age, the earbuds can deliver up to 6 hours of continuous music playback individually, with a combined playback time of up to 28 hours on a single charge.

Furthermore, they boast fast charging capabilities via the USB-C port, fully charging in under 1 hour as claimed.

To connect to your playback device, the earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3. The buds enter pairing mode without requiring any button presses. They offer compatibility with a wide range of operating systems, including Android, iOS, and Windows.

The X-Age ConvE Serene price in Nepal is Rs. 5,499. However, as a launch offer, the earbuds are being sold at a reduced price of Rs. 2,499.
