VinFast Auto is a subsidiary of Vingroup which is one of Vietnam’s largest corporate conglomerates. They entered the automotive sector in 2017 by establishing a manufacturing plant in its home country.

Initially, the company focused on producing internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. However, in 2022, VinFast made a bold shift by discontinuing its ICE lineup to focus exclusively on electric vehicles (EVs).

The launch of the VF8, designed for the US market, marked a significant milestone in VinFast’s EV journey. Building on this momentum, the company expanded its “VF” lineup to include models such as the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9.

Charging the battery is convenient with multiple options. Using a 3.5 kW AC charger, a full charge from 0 to 100% takes approximately 6 hours.

With a DC fast charger, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes.

The VF 7 can hit a top speed of 175 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in 6 seconds.
