Ultraviolette Shockwave Overview
Design
The Ultraviolette Shockwave blends retro charm with futuristic aesthetics, drawing inspiration from classic two-stroke enduro bikes while embracing a modern electric identity.
At the front, it features Vertically Stacked Dual Projector LED Headlamps, paired with raised mudguards that enhance off-road protection.
From the side profile, its sleek and streamlined body becomes evident that is intentionally designed to keep the weight low, which is a key advantage for any enduro machine.
Ultraviolette offers the Shockwave in both Single-Seat and Dual-Seat variants, allowing riders to choose according to their preference. The battery pack sits strategically to optimize the bike’s center of gravity, further improving balance and handling.
The Shockwave rides on Dual-Purpose Tires with a Spoke Wheel setup. It uses a narrower 19-inch front tire for precise control and a wider 17-inch rear tire for better traction.
At the rear, the design tapers into a barebones section that is minimalistic yet typical of enduro motorcycles.
On the tech front, the Shockwave equips a vertically oriented 5-inch TFT Display that supports Smartphone Connectivity via Bluetooth and e-SIM.
Additionally, it is available in two color options: Frost White and Cosmic Black.
Performance
The Shockwave is powered by a 10.8 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that produces a max power of 14.7 PS and an 505 Nm of max torque at the rear wheel.
A 4 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack powers the motor, offering an IDC-certified range of 165 km on a single charge. The battery also supports fast charging, allowing it to recharge from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Riders can take advantage of 6 levels of Regenerative Braking, enhancing the range and braking powers.
With a top speed of 120 km/h, the Shockwave sprints from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.
Additional Details
The bike features a 37 mm Cartridge-type Front Suspension offering 200 mm of travel, while the Rear Setup includes a Monoshock Absorber with 180 mm of travel.
This suspension configuration delivers a capable and balanced setup for enduro riding, especially with the generous travel that enhances off-road performance.
Although the company hasn’t revealed the exact dimensions and ground clearance yet, it has confirmed a kerb weight of 120 kg.
A significant portion of this weight comes from the battery and motor, which contribute to the bike’s sprung mass. This helps maintain better stability and comfort, as most of the weight is supported by the suspension rather than affecting unsprung dynamics.
