After a long tease, the TVS Jupiter 110 is finally set to launch next week in Nepal. The particular version launching in Nepal is the 2025 BS6-compliant model.
Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of TVS scooters in Nepal, is preparing to introduce the next-generation TVS Jupiter to the Nepali market. The Jupiter name carries strong recognition in the scooter segment, and for good reason.
If you ask TVS about it, they will proudly share the success story of the Jupiter lineup. Together with the NTorq 125, the Jupiter series (both 110cc and 125cc models) has helped TVS capture a significant 26% share of the Indian scooter market (FY2025).
The Jupiter alone has crossed the impressive milestone of 7 million units sold, making it one of the most successful models in TVS’s history.
This success can be accredited to TVS’s culture of continuously refining products, even those that are already popular. Models like the TVS Raider and NTorq 125 are clear examples of this approach.
The all-new TVS Jupiter 110 arrives as the spiritual successor to the original Jupiter Classic, which made its debut back in 2017. This updated version brings a fresh, youthful design, a more powerful engine, and a host of best-in-class features.
It comes equipped with All-LED Lighting, Silent Start, a Mobile Charging port, a 2-litre Front Glove Box, built-in Navigation, a Find My Vehicle function, and an Extended Floor Bed Space. With these major upgrades, the Jupiter 110 feels like a completely new scooter rather than just an update to its predecessor.
While it continues to embody the characteristics of a reliable family scooter, the new model arrives on an updated platform and introduces several quirky, segment-first features. We will explore these features in more detail later in this article.

TVS Jupiter 110 Overview
Design
The TVS Jupiter builds on the legacy of the Jupiter Classic, but this time with a sharper focus on what TVS calls “practical luxury”, that combines a comfortable riding experience with useful features like spacious storage and strong fuel efficiency.
At the front, the Jupiter 110 features an all-LED Trapezoidal Headlamp mounted directly on the handlebar. However, the real highlight is the redesigned front apron, which now comes equipped with sleek Infinity DRLs integrated with side indicators. This premium feature is exclusive to the higher variant, which is the version available in Nepal.
From the side, the scooter emphasizes practicality while maintaining a modern and refined look. It comes with a robust MetalMaxx body that sports a sleek, contoured design to ensure a cohesive appearance. Compared to its previous versions, the new Jupiter 110 is longer, wider, and taller, which gives it a more commanding presence on the road.
These increased proportions directly benefit everyday usability, offering a longer seat and expanded legroom for improved comfort during commutes. The side also highlights the 12-inch Alloy Wheels, fitted with a Disc brake at the front and a Drum brake at the rear.
At the back, the Jupiter 110 carries a long LED taillamp strip with integrated side indicators. This taillamp also supports an Emergency Brake Warning feature. And, on the instrumentation side, the Jupiter is equipped with a Fully Digital Instrument Cluster.
It displays all essential ride information and goes a step further by including features like Distance to Empty, Bluetooth Connectivity, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Call and Notification Alerts, and Real-Time Mileage updates.
Moreover, the scooter offers Front Fuel Filling, a small Front Glove Compartment (2-liter), a USB Charging Port, and an enormous 33-liter Under-Seat Storage compartment. While it cannot accommodate a full-face helmet, it can easily hold two half-face helmets along with other smaller items.
Additionally, TVS Jupiter 110 comes in Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, and Starlight Blue Gloss colors.

Performance
TVS Jupiter is powered by a 113.3cc, 4-stroke, Air-cooled OHC FI engine. It can generate a max power of 8.02 PS at 5000rpm and a max torque of 9.8 Nm at 5000rpm.
Moreover, it is mated to an Automatic Centrifugal Clutch with a 5.1-liter fuel tank capacity.
Jupiter 110 features an iGo Assist System. It is a micro-hybrid system, pushing out an extra 0.6 Nm torque figures for punchier pickup and uphill assist. Moreover, the Integrated Starter Generator has been incorporated, enabling a Silent Start System and Stop-Go Technology.
Built on the same platform as the Jupiter 125, the new Jupiter 110 shares the frame and engine architecture. However, TVS has reduced the bore size by 2.5mm, from 53.5mm, effectively downsizing the engine displacement from 125cc to 110cc.
Thanks to clever engineering, the Jupiter 110 delivers performance and dynamic ride quality similar to its 125cc sibling. At the same time, it stays true to the lighter and more fuel-efficient nature of the 110cc segment, offering the best of both worlds.
Also, the scooter claims a top speed of 82 kmph but it can reach the 90 kmph mark if you really push it.

Rivals
The 110cc scooter segment has evolved to match the needs of today’s riders, especially the younger generation who value both technology and personal expression. Among the most talked-about options in this segment are the TVS Jupiter 110, Honda Dio 110, and Hero Xoom 110.
All three scooters have embraced next-gen Fuel-Injection Technology and packed their models with modern features. However, the Jupiter 110 stands out as a well-balanced option.
Let’s begin with the Honda Dio. It is the most expensive of the three, and despite offering fewer tech features than its rivals, it continues to enjoy immense popularity. Its long-standing legacy and commuter-friendly design have earned it a loyal following in Nepal. The Dio also holds strong value in the second-hand market, making it a preferred choice for many buyers.
On the other hand, the Hero Xoom 110 tries to win over the younger crowd with its edgy styling, projector LED headlamp, wide rear tires, and smart connectivity features. It delivers a fun riding experience and comes at a more affordable price than the Dio. However, its lean and somewhat sharp design may not appeal to all young riders. Despite its modern features, the Xoom lacks a distinct character that resonates with its target audience.
Now we come to the TVS Jupiter 110, a scooter that combines the modern technology of the Xoom with the familiar legacy of the Dio. Although the earlier Jupiter Classic didn’t quite strike a chord with the market, the name still holds recognition among buyers. TVS has taken note and made every effort to ensure the Jupiter 110 to be absolute catch.
Moreover, Jupiter is expected to be priced lower than the Dio, and positions itself as a middle ground between the two. It outshines the Xoom in terms of overall appeal, but whether it can challenge the Dio’s hegemony in the Nepali market remains to be seen.
