Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS scooters in Nepal, has introduced a new variant of its most popular electric scooter. This addition marks another milestone for the TVS iQube, which has been setting records for TVS Nepal since its initial launch two years ago.
So far, iQube owners in Nepal have collectively covered over 10 million kilometers in Nepal. This achievement has helped save more than 2.85 lakh liters of fuel, translating to an estimated Rs. 45 million in savings for customers. From an environmental perspective, it has also reduced 660 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, which is equivalent to planting around 30,000 trees.
TVS Nepal has expanded its iQube lineup by introducing a new variant with a 3.0 kWh battery, offering a distinct alternative to the existing iQube 2.2 and iQube S 3.5 models. To know more about these different options, you can jump to the iQube variants breakdown section of this article.
What is the Price of the TVS iQube in Nepal?

TVS iQube Overview
Design
The TVS iQube embraces a modern-retro aesthetic, perfectly balancing futuristic electric styling with the familiar silhouette of a traditional scooter. This design approach allows it to appeal to a broad range of riders, from those seeking innovation to those who prefer timeless simplicity.
On the front, it features a distinct LED Strip Headlamp with integrated DRLs and turn indicators. The night visibility is good enough while giving it a clean and futuristic look. The rectangular headlamp housed within the flat apron creates a minimal, purposeful stance. Moreover, the large mirrors and an upright handlebar ensure excellent visibility and riding comfort.

Coming to the side, it wears a noticeable “iQube” branding, and electric-blue accents on the side panels emphasize its EV character. The smooth, flowing body panels enhance aerodynamics and give the scooter a sturdy, cohesive form. The single-piece seat, along with the new backrest, tries to add comfort and practicality.
The rear LED light is the same as the one in front. It is a sleek LED taillight cluster that stretches across the body, incorporating integrated turn indicators for better symmetry and visibility. The thick rear grab handle, twin rear shocks, and neatly integrated backrest continue the now familiar iQube styling.

Performance
There are a total of 3 variants of the TVS iQube currently available in Nepal. All of these variants are powered by a 4.4 kW BLDC Hub-Mounted Motor. It generates a max power of 5.98 PS and a max torque of 140 N m.
TVS iQube features two riding modes: Power and Eco. And, it can get from 0-40 km/h in just 4.2 seconds! Both battery and scooter come with a Smart Battery Management System with IP67 Water and Dust Protection.

The base variant of the iQube is powered by a 2.2 kWh Li-ion battery, delivering a real-world range of up to 75 km on a single charge. It comes with a portable 950W charger that can recharge the battery from 0 to 80% in just 2 hours, and it can reach a top speed of 75 km/h.
The Focus variant is equipped with a 3.0 kWh battery pack, offering a real-world range of up to 100 km per charge. It includes a portable 650W charger that takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%, while achieving a top speed of 82 km/h.
The top-end S variant features a larger 3.5 kWh Li-ion battery, providing a range of up to 115 km on a single charge. It uses the same 650W charger as the Focus variant, taking about 4 hours and 40 minutes for a 0 to 80% charge, and can reach a top speed of 78 km/h.
Among the three, the Focus variant effectively bridges the gap between the base and top models. It offers a better range and higher top speed than the entry-level version, but misses out on premium touches like the larger and smarter TFT display found in the S variant.

Rivals
TVS iQube competes against the Bajaj Chetak.
The Bajaj Chetak 3501 and TVS iQube 3.0 are closely matched in terms of performance, though the iQube holds a slight edge. Its 4.4 kW motor delivers more power than the Chetak’s 4 kW unit, resulting in a higher top speed of 82 km/h, compared to the Chetak’s 73 km/h. However, the Chetak 3501 counters with greater practicality. It offers 35 liters of under-seat storage, providing a small yet useful advantage over the iQube’s 32-liter compartment. While the difference may seem minor, the extra space enhances daily convenience. The Chetak also has the advantage in charging speed: its 950W charger reaches 80% in about 3 hours, whereas the iQube’s 650W charger takes around 4.5 hours to achieve the same.
The suspension setup is another clear differentiator. The iQube’s telescopic front fork provides smoother, more stable handling on uneven city roads, while the Chetak’s older suspension design feels dated and less refined in comparison. Pricing adds an interesting dynamic to this rivalry. Both scooters are now priced almost identically, suggesting that TVS Nepal may have introduced the iQube 3.0 (Focus variant) specifically to compete with the Chetak 3501. In that context, the Chetak 3501 stands as a top-tier model, offering a complete feature package and strong value for money. Meanwhile, the iQube 3.0 serves as a mid-range variant, practical but not as feature-rich as the top iQube S, which costs about Rs. 35,000 more.
Range also plays a critical role. The Chetak’s 153 km IDC-rated range easily surpasses the iQube 3.0’s 123 km figure. Even the higher-end iQube S, with its 145 km IDC range, falls slightly short, giving Bajaj a noticeable edge in this aspect. However, its 12 kg heavier weight of the Chetak could affect real-world range and performance.
That said, the overall design and electronic packaging of the Chetak feels more futuristic and modern, while the iQube leans toward a traditional, family-friendly approach, focusing on simplicity and reliability. Although the balance tilts slightly in Bajaj’s favor, the TVS iQube remains an ideal choice for riders who value a clean, straightforward, and dependable electric scooter experience.
