Price Drop Alert: Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Now Available at a Reduced Price

Samsung has announced a price drop of Rs. 2,000 on its Galaxy M14 5G in Nepal. This budget phone belongs to Samsung’s M series of smartphones and was released in the country in May 2023.

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Overview

Design

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G features a smoothly extending curved frame from the back panel, while its vertical camera array design is not new and looks similar to other Samsung smartphones launched this year, including the Galaxy A14, A24, and S23 series.

The bottom side of the phone houses a speaker, a USB-C port, a mic, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the top, there is a noise-canceling mic, and on the left side, there is a SIM card tray. The power button, which also serves as a fingerprint sensor, and the volume buttons are located on the right.

With a large 6000mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy M14 5G weighs slightly over 200g. The front of the phone is protected with Gorilla Glass 5, and it comes in three color options: Icy Silver, Berry Blue, and Smoky Teal.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel is Full HD+ (1080 x 2408 px) and has a waterdrop notch.

While the bottom bezel is slightly bigger than expected, the overall bezels are average for a smartphone in this price range.

Hardware

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 chipset, which was announced in February 2023. This chipset enables the phone to support 5G connectivity, which is yet to be available in Nepal.

This processor is built on a 5nm process technology and features two ARM Cortex-A78 CPUs clocked at up to 2.4GHz, as well as six ARM Cortex-A55 CPUs clocked at up to 2.0GHz. The graphics are handled by the Mali-G68 GPU.

Only one memory configuration is available in Nepal, which includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G’s triple camera setup at the back consists of a 50MP main camera, as well as a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 13MP front camera. The phone is capable of shooting videos up to 1080p at 30fps.
