Discount Alert: Samsung Galaxy M04 Price Reduced in Nepal

Samsung has reduced the price of its Galaxy M04 in Nepal by Rs. 2,000. The phone had initially launched exclusively on Daraz in March 2023, but later in August, it started hitting the offline market too.

Samsung Galaxy M04 Overview

Design

The back of the Samsung Galaxy M04 has a textured design, featuring two vertically aligned camera circles along with a flash positioned nearby. The rear rings are seamlessly integrated with the back, allowing the phone to lay flat on a surface without any wobbling.

Additionally, the plastic back is curved at the sides. On the front, the phone has a camera housed within a waterdrop notch, while the chin bezel is noticeably thick.

The device’s power and volume buttons are located on the right-hand side, while the speaker, USB-C port, microphone, and headphone jack are located at the bottom.

Display

The M04 has a 6.5-inch HD+ PLS LCD display. It has a resolution of 720 x 1600, which translates to a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The display does not support a high refresh rate. Moreover, it has a dewdrop notch and a thick bottom bezel.

Hardware

Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. Built on a 12nm process node, it is a 4-year-old processor with eight Arm Cortex-A53 CPU cores, four clocked at up to 2.35GHz and the rest at up to 1.8GHz.

The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage options. Samsung is promoting the device as having 8GB RAM with RAM Plus, a feature that uses its storage as virtual memory. The device supports a microSD card slot to expand storage.

Camera

It has a dual camera setup with a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front has a 5MP selfie camera.

Battery and OS

The phone includes a 5000mAh battery and comes with a 7.75W charger in the box.

In terms of software, it runs on Android 12 topped with One UI Core 4.1 out of the box. Samsung promises four years of security updates and two times OS upgrades.
