Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Received Price Cut in Nepal for Dashain

Xiaomi is offering Dashain discount to all of its Xiaomi 12 series and Redmi Note 11 series, including Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

For Dashain, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G price in Nepal is Rs. 37,499 for the 6+128GB variant and Rs. 40,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It is available to buy at all Xiaomi-authorized stores across Nepal.

It’s the global variant, not the Indian or Chinese, with the Snapdragon 695 chipset. The Redmi Note 11 series offers four models, much like last year: Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. However, despite sharing the same marketing name and design, the phones are not identical around the globe.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro alone has three variants: Chinese, Indian, and global. The Chinese variant has the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset, the Indian variant has the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset — which was also recently launched in Nepal with the 4G suffix — whereas the global variant has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset.

To add to the confusion, the Indian model of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is identical to the global variant of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. I truly hope Xiaomi would abandon this perplexing naming convention.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Overview

Design

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G has an anti-glare matte finish back made of glass with a sleek flat-edge design.

The front glass is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes in three different colours, including Polar White, Graphite Gray, and Atlantic Blue.

Display

It has a 6.67-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The display has very thin side bezels of just 1.75mm and a tiny 2.96mm punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera.

The phone offers 360-degree ambient light sensors, DCI-P3, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate display.

Hardware

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G in Nepal is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. The processor has an octa-core CPU (2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver) and Adreno 619 GPU.

The phone comes in two variants: 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. The 64GB variant is not available in Nepal.

Camera

It features triple rear cameras of 108MP main camera with Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 118-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro lens.

Inside the tiny front cutout is a 16MP front-facing camera. The device can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and Others

It has a 5,000mAh battery. And it supports up to 67W fast charging.

For the software, the device runs on MIUI 13 on top of Android 11.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Price in Nepal and Availability

Currently, the device is cheaper by Rs. 1,000 on the occasion of Dashain. Until October 3, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G price in Nepal is Rs. 37,499 for the 6+128GB variant and Rs. 40,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It is available to buy at all Xiaomi authorized stores across Nepal.

Otherwise, it starts at Rs. 38,499. Before that, it started at Rs. 36,999. In July, Xiaomi had revised the price of the Redmi Note 11 series in Nepal, which made the 11 Pro 5G Rs. 1,500 more expensive.
