Realme 13 Pro Plus with Monet-Inspired Design Set to Launch in Nepal Soon

Realme is set to launch the Realme 13 Pro Plus in Nepal, just two months after releasing its predecessor, the Realme 12 Pro Plus.

The Realme 13 Pro Plus is a new premium midrange smartphone from Realme that features a flagship-level triple camera setup and a design language inspired by the famous painter Claude Monet. In terms of specs, the phone has an AMOLED display, triple cameras, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, and a 5200mAh battery.

Realme 13 Pro Plus Overview

Design

The Realme 13 Pro Plus keeps up with the design trend in other mid-to-upper range Realme phones. It features a big, circular camera module on the back that resembles a watch face, complete with a gold-colored trim. You’ll find the Realme logo embossed right in the center at the bottom of the device.

Inspired by Claude Monet, the aptly named Monet Gold has a glass back with shimmering gold particles whereas the vegan leather Emerald Green option has a more sophisticated look.

The side rails of the phone are metal and come with a gold-colored finish that gives a premium look to the device. On the right side, you’ll find the power button and volume rockers, while the SIM card slot and charging port are located at the bottom. The phone is rated IP65 dust and water-resistant.

Display

Moving onto the display, the 13 Pro Plus comes with a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display that has a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.

In terms of brightness, the panel achieves a typical brightness of 600 nits, an HBM of 1200 nits (HBM), and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. The panel also comes with some interesting tech of its own and has Realme’s Rainwater Smart touch for better screen interaction and an optical fingerprint sensor underneath.

Hardware

The Realme 13 Pro Plus is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, the same as the one in the previous model. The 4nm octa-core processor has 4 Cortex-A78 cores and 4 Cortex-A55 cores, running up to 2.4GHz and 1.95GHz respectively. For graphics, it uses the Adreno 710 GPU, which first appeared on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

The phone comes in the following memory configurations: 256GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM, and 512GB 12GB RAM. For an extra layer of immersion, the phone has a tactile engine for providing haptic feedback when playing games.

Besides that, the phone also comes with a 4500mm² vapor chamber for cooling and dual speakers for a stereo setup.

Cameras

Let’s talk cameras. The Realme 13 Pro Plus packs three cameras on the back and a single selfie cam on the front. The cameras have a Sony LYT-701 main sensor and a Sony LYT-600 telephoto sensor in the cameras, so we can expect some really good images from this device.

The main rear camera is a 50MP, f/1.9 lens with multi-directional PDAF and OIS, so you’ll get clear, stable shots. There’s also a 50MP telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom and an impressive 120x digital zoom, plus it has OIS too. The third rear camera is an 8MP ultrawide with a 112˚ field of view, perfect for those wide-angle shots.

On the front, the selfie camera is a 32MP, f/2.5 lens, so your selfies should come out looking great. For video, the rear cameras can shoot in 4K at 30fps, while the front camera handles 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and OS

When it comes to the battery, the Realme 13 Pro Plus gets a nice upgrade with a 5200mAh power pack, compared to the 5000mAh in the previous model. The new battery can provide a claimed 9 hours of backup when gaming and 18.6 hours when watching YouTube.

Realme says you can charge the battery up to 50% in just 19 minutes and hit a full charge in 49 minutes with its 80W fast charging via the USB-C port. Plus, they’re promising battery health for 4 years.

On the software side, the phone comes with AndroidOS 14 and has Realme’s Realme UI 5.0 skin applied on top. The software has some nifty features like Air Gestures, Microsoft Phonelink, and File Dock baked in.

Besides that, there are also some AI features like Image editing, Smart Loop, and Image Matting among others.

Realme 13 Pro Plus Price in Nepal and Availability

Realme has yet to announce the Realme 13 Pro Plus price in Nepal. By looking at the launch price of its predecessor and the specs that this phone comes with, we can expect it to start at around Rs. 53000 for the base variant.

When available you can buy it in Realme-authorized stores across Nepal as well as on online e-commerce sites.
