What is the Price of the Oppo Find N5 in Nepal?
The Oppo Find N5 Price in Nepal could be around Rs. 2,14,999 for the 12/256GB variant and Rs. 2,39,999 for the 16/512GB variant.
The Oppo Find N5 features a flagship-level processor—something surprisingly missing in many so-called foldable phones today. For me, it checks all the right boxes with a razor-thin design, Snapdragon 8 Elite, and a Silicon-carbon battery.
Given N5’s rising popularity in the global market, it’s bound to make headlines in Nepal as well.
Let’s see what the phone packs below.

Oppo Find N5 Overview
Design
The Oppo Find N5 is super thin at only 8.93mm when folded, it’s slimmer than many non-foldable phones. You can finally put your phone in your pocket without having to switch to cargo pants.
Compared to its biggest rival, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Find N5 is about 30% thinner—a massive win for portability. And when you unfold it, things get even crazier — it’s just 4.21mm thick! That makes it the slimmest folding phone out there right now. It also tips the scale at under 230g, which is impressively light for a device packing this much power.
Oppo achieved this sleekness with a titanium alloy flexion hinge, which they claim reduces the hinge’s thickness by 26%. The device is also TÜV Rheinland certified for reliable folding and minimized crease visibility.
However, not everything is sunshine and titanium. The phone lacks dust resistance and only carries IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance—great for splashes and submersion, but maybe don’t bring it to the beach on a windy day. And this is where the Samsung Z Fold 6 comes on top with its IP48 dust and water resistance.
Due to the curved corners, the right corner is rounded, while the left remains flat when folded. It might look asymmetrical—or maybe that’s just my OCD acting up.
Also, because the phone is so thin, there’s no room for an under-display fingerprint scanner. Instead, Oppo has sensibly placed a side-mounted power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

Display
When folded, the Oppo Find N5 sports a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a tall 20.7:9 aspect ratio, making it look and feel just like a regular smartphone. It offers a crisp FHD+ resolution (1140 x 2616 pixels) and a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
In terms of brightness, the outer screen can reach up to 600 nits typically, 1600 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM), and peaks at a dazzling 2450 nits—great for sunny outdoor use.
Unfold the device, and you’re greeted with a massive 8.12-inch AMOLED display on the inside, with a near-square 2248 x 2480 resolution. It shares the same 600 nits typical brightness, though HBM here maxes out at 1400 nits, and peak brightness tops out at 2100 nits—still excellent for a foldable.
You also get a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and support for 1.07 billion no matter what screen you’re on.
Hardware
Oppo Find N5 is here to give tough competition with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite to the Samsung Z Fold 6’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Unfortunately, what we have here isn’t the full-fledged octa-core 8 Elite, but a slightly binned 7-core variant. They’ve nixed one core, but the rest of the magic—including the Adreno 830 GPU and Hexagon NPU—remains intact
Although you are missing a core, the phone might heat up, given the compact form factor. Thermal throttling could also be a concern, especially since Oppo hasn’t officially mentioned any dedicated cooling mechanism like a vapor chamber. Still, it’s likely tucked in there somewhere.
As for memory, the Find N5 is no slouch. The base model comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while power users can opt for the top-end variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Cameras
The main 50MP sensor is solid, but the 8MP ultra-wide camera feels underwhelming. Interestingly, the Find N5 includes a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom and a surprisingly short focusing distance.
This means it can double as a macro lens—an innovative move compared to most phones that rely on the ultra-wide for close-ups.
On the selfie front, both the cover and inner screens feature an 8MP camera. When it comes to video, the rear camera setup can record in up to 4K at 60fps, while the front cameras max out at 4K 30fps.

Battery and OS
The Oppo Find N5 is powered by a 5,600mAh Silicon-carbon battery, a smart choice for a phone with such a slim profile. Silicon-carbon tech not only offers higher energy density but also helps keep the weight and size in check.
Charging is equally impressive, with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging support.
On the software front, the phone ships with Android 15, layered with Oppo’s ColorOS 15. Oppo is also promising 4 years of OS updates.
Oppo Find N5 Price in Nepal and Availability
The Oppo Find N5 Price in Nepal could be around Rs. 2,14,999 for the 12/256GB variant and Rs. 2,39,999 for the 16/512GB variant.
The phone isn’t officially available for purchase yet, but there are talks of it launching in Nepal very soon.
Oppo Find N5 | Price in Nepal [Expected] |
---|---|
12/256GB | Rs. 2,14,999 |
12/512GB | Rs. 2,39,999 |
The Oppo Find N5 patches up several shortcomings seen in Samsung’s Z Fold 6. For starters, the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite is a major performance leap. And the ultra-slim profile means when folded, it doesn’t feel like you’re carrying a brick in your pocket.
The use of a Silicon-carbon battery is also a smart move—packing a 5,600mAh cell into such a compact form factor is no small feat.
That said, the camera setup is just average. But considering the razor-thin design, that’s a compromise some users will likely forgive.
