OPPO A60 with Snapdragon 680 Processor Launched in Nepal!

The Oppo A60, a new lower mid-range smartphone from Oppo, is set to debut in Nepal soon.

The Oppo A60, a newly introduced mid-range smartphone, features a Snapdragon 680 processor, dual rear cameras, an IPS LCD display, and a 5000mAh battery. However, its standout feature and selling point, as marketed by Oppo, is its military-grade shock resistance.

Oppo A60 Overview

Design

In terms of design, the OPPO A60 has a typical brick-shaped design with a colorful back panel made of plastic. The Ripple Blue color variant looks particularly attractive when compared to the more understated Midnight Purple option.

The camera island, situated in the upper left corner of the back panel, houses the dual-camera system, with the main camera in one cutout and the secondary camera, along with the flash, in the other.

OPPO claims the A60 smartphone has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, along with military-grade shock resistance.

Display

The hole-punch display on the A60 smartphone features an asymmetrical design. This results in an uneven bezel thickness around the panel, notably with a thicker chin at the bottom.

The 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel has a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels and a peak brightness of 950nits. The panel can achieve a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz.

Hardware

Oppo has included the A60 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The 6nm octa-core processor has 4x 2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold performance cores and 4x 1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver efficiency cores. Handling the graphics is an Adreno 610 graphics processor.

In terms of memory, the smartphone has 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of storage.

Continuing about hardware features, the smartphone has a dual speaker setup that goes up to 300% with the Ultra Volume Mode.

Camera

The Oppo A60 has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera accompanied by a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The selfie camera is an 8MP shooter.

Both the rear and front cameras can shoot videos in 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and OS

The Oppo A60 features a 5000mAh battery that charges via the included USB-C port. It supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The phone runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin on top.

The Oppo A60 price in Nepal is Rs. 29,999 (8/128GB). It is available for purchase in retail stores and e-commerce sites.

Oppo is also giving an 18-month warranty to customers who purchase the smartphone between June 27, 2024, and July 15, 2024.
