Oppo A17k Overview

Design

The Oppo A17k has a plastic build with Oppo branding at the lower right corner of the rear. The back has a single main camera and a flash. Both are flat to the surface, giving the phone a clean look.

The phone is available in three color options: Navy Blue, Blue, and Gold. All three color options have a color-matched frame and buttons. The power button, beneath the volume buttons, on the right side also doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

The bottom side of the device houses a speaker, Micro-USB port, mic, and headphone jack. The SIM card tray is given on the left side, which also supports a microSD card.

Display

It has a 6.56-inch TFT LCD display with an HD+ resolution. The display does not have support for a high refresh rate. Oppo claims that the display can cover 100% DCI-P3 and 96% NTSC color space in Vivid mode.

The typical brightness of the display can reach up to 480nits, whereas under sunlight, it has a maximum of 600nits. For protection, the display is topped with Panda Glass.

Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. It is an entry-level octa-core processor with two clusters of four ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at up to 2.3GHz and 1.8GHz frequency, respectively.

The device comes with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Users can expand the storage via a microSD card.

Camera

Oppo A17k features an 8MP primary camera, while for selfies, a 5MP camera is given on the front.
