It’s been 3 months since the OnePlus 6 was launched. And things get boring fast. Who can stand seeing a phone in the same color that it came with for 3 months? OnePlus knows that. So, now, they have brought 3 more color variants of the OnePlus 6 to spice things up and pull more people to buy their phones. There are three new colors: Midnight Black, Silk White, and Red.
The Midnight Black is a different kind of black than the Mirror Black, the only color option OnePlus was available a few days ago. It is less reflective and less prone to catching fingerprints. You can call it a Matte Black version. But the texture of the back is different as well. The Midnight lack version feels smoother on the hand. The Silk White version adds a white back and splashes of gold to the aluminum frame and the fingerprint sensor. You can check out iJustine freaking out about the color in this video. The red color is pretty much self-describing. It paints the entire back (including the fingerprint sensor), and the aluminum frame in an orangy bright red color that some people absolutely love but might make some people cringe.
One thing you should note is that the Red and the Silk White color options are only available in 128GB variant of the phone while the Midnight Black is only available as a 256GB variant.
