Neta Auto has achieved a historic milestone as a startup automaker in China.
The company released China’s new energy vehicle export volume, showcasing its export situation among its other vehicle manufacturers.
Neta Auto has achieved a major milestone as one of the most exported cars from China from January to April 2024. During this period, the company exported 13,694 vehicles globally, beating other EV brands like XPeng, Seres, and Skyworth.
Interestingly enough, BYD and Tesla lead the chart by exporting 138,769 and 119,202 new energy vehicles respectively.
Chinese automakers have significantly accelerated their expansion into overseas markets this year, surpassing Japan in export volume for the first time last year.
That being said, Neta Auto ranks fourth among car companies in terms of new energy vehicle export volume and first among new car-making forces.
The company operates under a dual-market model of “domestic and overseas”, focusing on a mid-to-long-term global strategic layout.
Neta has three production plants across Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
The Thailand factory has commenced large-scale production with an annual capacity of 30,000 vehicles. Similarly, the Indonesian factory rolled off the first mass-produced new car on April 22. Meanwhile, the Malaysian factory plans to begin production in 2025.
Neta Auto is focused on expanding its global presence, setting a sales target of 100,000 units overseas, with service outlets to be established in 40 countries.
Neta Nepal currently offers Neta V and Neta X in the Nepali market.
