Exclusive Sale on Moonbao – Buy Anything at Just Rs.1

Moonbao, a new e-commerce site has announced a “Wow Sale” on its launch tomorrow. According to the offer, the first 1000 customers to place an order on their site will be able to buy any item at just Rs.1. The site is set to be official at 12:12 pm on June 8, tomorrow.

The site is set to hit the market with some interesting items at a reasonable price. They have been posting the sneak peeks of the items available at their site through their Facebook page. They are mainly concentrating on women and men apparels. They target to provide quality products to the customers at reasonable price, by cutting the middleman.

To participate on this sale, you need to follow these simple steps:

• Sign up to their site
• Like and share their Facebook page, and
• Visit the site on June 8 and be amongst the first 1000 to place the order

Our take?

Currently, there are many e-commerce sites in Nepal, and most of them claim to provide quality service to the customers. But, only a few of them have been able to do so. The SALE organized by some of the top e-commerce sites like Kamyu, Neo in recent past have failed to impress the audience. However, the marketing strategies applied by MoonBao is quite unique, and we hope that it will be able to bring some fresh air to the e-commerce industry of Nepal.

Note: Moonbao is a new e-commerce site.  As of now, we don’t have enough details about the site. The site is promoting itself and its sale on its Facebook page. So, we thought it might be useful to our readers. We will be updating about Moonbao in our upcoming posts as we learn more about it. 

UPDATE: The site couldn’t handle the load at the time, obviously. It is still down at the moment of writing this i.e. 12.30 PM. Added to this, there’s open directory listing and the MySQL password and mail password can be easily viewed by anyone. This is very poor management, to say the least.
