LG Nepal launched the LG C1 series of TV in Nepal in December 2021. These are high-end 4K OLED TVs from LG ranging from 48 inches to 65 inches screen size.

The LG C1 series comprises 48-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models. The series also has a 77-inch and 83-inch model, however, it is not available in Nepal yet.

The MRP of the LG C1 OLED TV ranges from Rs. 2,99,290 to Rs. 5,47,590. But you can buy them now at a much cheaper price.

Currently, the LG C1 OLED TV price in Nepal is Rs. 2,44,390 for the 48-inch modelRs. 2,62,590 for the 55-inch model, and Rs. 4,47,190 for the 65-inch model. It can be bought via LG authorized stores across Nepal.

Design

The TV comes in three different screen sizes: 48 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches. The front of the TV is all screen, with no branding and minimal bezels.

The TV comes with a long silver stand if you want to put it on the table. If not, you can mount it on the wall using the VESA mount on the back.

The upper part of the TV is razor-thin, measuring only a few millimetres. The bottom part is a bit thicker to house all the components and ports of the TV.

Talking about the ports, it has four HDMI 2.1 ports, three USB 2.0 ports, an RF connection input (antenna/cable), an Ethernet input, a Digital Audio Output (Optical), and a Headphone Out.

Four of the HDMI ports support 4K@120Hz, and one of them supports eARC/ARC for outputting audio to a soundbar or AV receiver.

Display

The LG C1 TV flaunts a 4K Ultra HD (2,840 x 2,160) OLED display. It comes in three models with 48-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch screen sizes. The display supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG, but misses out on HDR10+.

The OLED TV produces 100% colour volume, covering 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut at all levels of brightness.

For gamers, the display has a >1ms response time and can go up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDMI 2.1 features such as 4K@120Hz content, VRR, and ALLM. Furthermore, it is also certified as G-Sync compatible and supports FreeSync Premium.

Hardware

The LG C1 is equipped with the Alpha a9 Gen4 AI Processor. The processor optimizes the scene according to the content and environment to improve picture quality, makes faces appear more vivid, upscales HD content to 4K, optimizes the sound to make it more clear and vivid, and does many more.

The TV also features a light sensor that measures the surrounding ambient light, and the processor adjusts the picture accordingly. Additionally, it has Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) technology and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.

For audio, the LG C1 boasts 40W 2.2 channel down-firing speakers that support Dolby Atmos audio.

Smart Features

The LG C1 runs on WebOS. It has all the major video streaming apps, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube TV, Disney+, Apple TV, and more.

The TV can also be connected to a smartphone via the LG ThinQ app, which can be downloaded from the Playstore and App Store. The mobile app can be used to control the TV, cast, and many more.

The OLED TV comes with LG’s magic remote that has mouse-like control, a click wheel, microphones, dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, and voice assistants, including Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
