The Kick Buds S Classic is a TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbud that features ANC and Transparency modes on a budget. It does look pretty similar to the Kick Buds S Pro that we reviewed before. So, what differences are there? Let’s discuss that in this article.

Kick Buds S Classic Overview

Design

Kick Buds S Classic features a short stem and the buds are IPX4 rated. The case is pebble-shaped and features a single LED at the front. This means the earbuds are protected against splashing water.

The buds are of in-ear style and should provide decent passive isolation.

Features

For the audio, Kick advertises a 13mm dynamic driver with crisp highs and deep lows that offer good audio quality.

Kick Buds S Classic features ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and a Transparency Mode as well and the company claims, the earbuds provide up to 30dB of active noise cancellation.

The earbuds also feature ENC for communication with a quad mic setup. You can control the earbuds with touch controls on either earbud.

Battery and Connectivity

For the battery, Kick has claimed 30 hours of playback with the earbuds in ANC Off mode. The earbuds support quick charge which provides up to 150 minutes of playback with a 10-minute charge. The charging is done via a USB-C port.

The earbuds feature Bluetooth V5.3 for connectivity so you can expect some decent connection range with it and Kick claims a latency of 60ms with the buds.

Overall, the Kick Buds S Classic is pretty similar to the Kick Buds S Pro. It’s a bit downscaled version of the Pro in our opinion. The IPX4-rating vs. IPX7 on the Pro, 30dB ANC vs. 42dB, and so on. Furthermore, the earbuds provide up to 30 hours of playback with ANC Off which is pretty good to see.
