itel Vision 1 Overview
Design
itel Vision 1 has a gradient color back with a dual-camera setup. The camera module looks inspired by the iPhone and there’s a fingerprint sensor right beside it. The back is made up of plastic as is the frame.
Upfront it has a waterdrop display with a notch. The side bezels look quite minimal but the chin looks big.
Display
itel Vision 1 has a 6.08 inches HD+ IPS display with a waterdrop notch. it has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and the company claims a 178-degree viewing angle.
It’s a 2.5D curved display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1560.
Hardware
itel Vision 1 features a Unisoc SC9863A processor. Along with this, it has 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a memory card slot.
Unisoc SC9863A (formerly Spreadtrum) is an entry-level octa-core SoC with 8 ARM Cortex-A55 cores in two clusters. One performance cluster with up to 1.6 GHz and an efficiency cluster with up to 1.2 GHz.
This chipset is fairly new and there isn’t much information about it. We’ll have to test it to know it’s performance.
Camera
itel Vision 1 has a dual-camera setup with an 8MP main sensor and a 0.08MP second camera. They are calling it an AI Dual camera that can take bright and clear images in low light. But, I don’t think that is likely to happen.
Upfront, it has a 5MP camera for selfies. You can use face unlock with the front camera as well.
Battery and OS
It has a 4000 mAh which is pretty decent for the price. The company claims you can enjoy all your media needs with more than 24 hours of lang lasting usage. So, this would probably last more than a day with average usage.
Furthermore, it runs on Android 9 Pie.
itel Vision 1 Price in Nepal and Availability
itel Vision 1 will be available within July 2020. It is priced for INR 6,299 which translates to NPR 10,000. So, itel Vision 1 price in Nepal could be around 11-12k.
Model Name | Expected Price in Nepal | Availability in Nepal |
---|---|---|
itel Vision 1 | ~ Rs. 12000 | Available before the end of July via retail stores. |
itel Vision 1 is a budget phone and it should not cost more than 10k if it wants to be competitive. There are good entry-level phones from brands like Samsung and Nokia for a similar price tag.
Its specification looks decent for an entry-level smartphone. Especially, the battery is huge at 4000 mAh. Its processor is relatively unknown and by the looks of it doesn’t use Android Go. So, it might not be as good as current offerings from Samsung and Nokia. But we shall wait and see.
