Itel A60s Arrives in Nepal with a High-Capacity 5000mAh Battery

The China-based company, Itel, has been selling budget phones in Nepal. Itel has been trying to establish itself in the budget phone category by selling both smartphones and feature phones in Nepal.

Itel has been selling the Vision-series and A-series phones in Nepal and the A60s is their latest addition. In this article, we will discuss the specifications of the phone.

Itel A60S Overview

Design

The Itel A60S has a good design. The plastic back has this diamond matrix-like pattern and the camera module looks pretty classy as well. The fingerprint sensor is also placed within the camera module which gives the body a clean look.

All the buttons are placed on the right side of the phone and the phone is available in various color options.

Display

The phone has a 6.6-inch IPS 2.5D curved display with a teardrop notch. The front-facing camera is placed on the notch. The HD+ resolution with a display sharpness of 267ppi (pixels per inch) is not the sharpest tool in the shed but at this budget, it is the norm.

The bezels are also not very thin and the phone has a 60Hz refresh rate. The display is pretty standard for the price and we have nothing more to comment on it.

Hardware

The Itel A60S is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A (28nm) processor. It is an octa-core processor with 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A55 & 4×1.2 GHz Cortex-A55 while the graphics is handled by PowerVR GE8322.

The chipset is one we’ve seen on the Galaxy A03 Core and the phone comes with 4GB of RAM with an additional 4GB of virtual memory option and 128GB of storage.

Camera

The Itel A60S features a dual camera setup with an 8MP primary camera and a QVGA sensor. It’s basically a single camera with the secondary camera being used for supporting computation.

The front has a 5MP selfie camera with a flash and is capable of photos and videos.

Battery and OS

The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery. The battery life of this phone should be great as the low-resolution slow display and a not very power-hungry chipset won’t be demanding.

The smartphone runs on Android 12, out of the box.

Itel A60S price in Nepal is Rs. 12,690 (4/128GB). You can purchase the phones from retail shops in Nepal and also through e-commerce platforms.

The Itel A60S is a budget smartphone with the Unisoc SC9863A under the hood. It features two cameras with an 8MP primary camera and a QVGA sensor.

Furthermore, it has a 6.6-inch 60Hz HD+ IPS display powered by a 5000mAh battery.
