Apple iPad Air 2025 Overview
Design
The iPad Air 2025 has that signature iPad design everyone is familiar with. The panels and the frame on this thing are flat, and its body is made of aluminium, which is 100% recycled, apparently.
The iPad Air 2025 is available in four colours: Blue, Purple, Starlight, and Space Grey, across two size options. It also comes in both Wi-Fi-only and cellular models, with a subtle design difference being antenna bands going through the top and bottom portions.
The Nepali market will only receive the Wi-Fi variant, which features a cleaner, uninterrupted finish thanks to the absence — and lack of need — for antenna bands. The tablet does not seem to have any water or dust resistance certification, so one must bear that in mind.

Display
As I mentioned earlier, the iPad Air 2025 is available in two sizes, those being 11 and 13 inches. The screens are, however, ever-so-slightly smaller at 10.86 and 12.9 inches, respectively.
Both sizes of tablet feature a Liquid Retina display, which means a 60Hz LCD panel is in Apple language. Unsurprisingly, the larger variant has a slightly higher resolution of 2,732 x 2,048 pixels, compared to 2,360 x 1,640 pixels on the 11-inch variant. Despite the resolution difference, both sizes have a pixel density of 264PPI.
Likewise, they both come with P3 wide colour coverage, True Tone, and Apple Pencil and hover support. They also have fingerprint-resistant oleophobic and antireflective coatings, on top of being fully laminated.
The only difference between the two sizes lies in their brightness levels: the 11-inch model reaches up to 500 nits, while the 13-inch version pushes another 100 nits, peaking at 600 nits.
Nepali audiences can only get the 11-inch variant as of now. However, the larger variant might be available in the future.
Hardware
The M3 chip, out of Apple’s own foundry, powers the iPad Air 2025. This silicon has an eight-core CPU, wherein four cores each are dedicated to performance and efficiency. Similarly, the GPU and Neural Engine dedicated to AI-related tasks consist of nine and 16 cores, respectively.
Given that the M3 chip also powers full-fledged computers like the 14-inch MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac, the iPad Air 2025 does not have any shortage in terms of power.
Other than that, we are looking at 8 gigs of RAM, and four storage options, i.e. 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Camera
For optics, the iPad Air 2025 has a 12MP unit on the front as well as the back. A sapphire crystal lens cover protects the snapper on the back and can zoom up to five times digitally.
The rear camera here can record 4K footage with 60FPS smoothness, while the front camera caps out at FHD (1080p) resolution.
Battery and OS
Talking of the battery, you might have already seen it coming, the 13-inch model has a larger cell capacity at 36.59Wh. Meanwhile, the smaller version packs a 28.93Wh battery. Regardless of the size difference, Apple claims up to 10 hours of web surfing on both versions of the iPad Air 2025.
As for the software, the upcoming iPad boots on iPadOS 18, complete with all the Apple Intelligence chops. You can also pair Apple Pencil and/or Magic Keyboard with the iPad Air 2025 and get the most out of the device.
Apple iPad Air 2025 Price in Nepal and Availability

Apple iPad Air 2025 (Wi-Fi,11-inch) | Price in Nepal |
---|---|
128GB | Rs. 1,09,000 |
256GB | Rs. 1,25,000 |
512GB | Rs. 1,68,000 |

Like always, power won’t really be an issue with the newest iPad, given it comes with the M3 chip, which was also seen in MacBooks and iMacs. With all the computing power it holds, this is definitely a device for professionals.
However, if you are just looking for a tablet to do all the regular stuff, the standard iPad or the iPad Mini will be much better suited. Hopefully, the 13-inch variant also arrives in Nepal so that it can cater to a larger audience.
