Huawei has launched three new monitors in Nepal. It was unveiled at the Huawei Connect 2021 event held on November 16, 2021, in Kathmandu.
The sole authorized distributor of Huawei, Call Mobility Pvt. Ltd., is selling these monitors. It can be purchased through them by visiting the showroom located at CTC Mall, Sundhara, Kathmandu.

Huawei MateView
The Huawei MateView is the most expensive available monitor from Huawei in Nepal. The frame and stand are made of alumunium alloy, and it features a minimalist appearance.
It’s a 28.2-inch IPS display with a 4K+ (3840 x 2560) resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. This monitor, designed for creative professionals, covers 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 (typical) with a Delta E value of less than 2.
It’s a 60Hz panel with a typical brightness of 500 nits and a screen-to-body ratio of 94%. The display can produce 1.07 billion colours and is also HDR 400 certified by Vesa. It has a stand with 110mm height, which can be adjusted to ±5 mm. The monitor can also be tilted forward and backward from -5° to 18° (±2°).
It includes two USB Type-C ports, one of which can only be used for a 135W power supply, while the other can be used for display, data transfer, and 65W max charging power. Other ports include two USB Type-A 3.0, an HDMI 2.0, a MiniDP, and a 3.5mm headset and microphone combo jack.
For connectivity, the Huawei MateView has dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 5.1. You can also wirelessly project the screen of your phone, tablet, or laptop screen onto the display if it has wireless projection capabilities. The tablet can also be synced to serve as a sketchpad for design work.
Huawei phones with NFC and EMUI 10.0 or above can be used as a desktop with Desktop mode by simply tapping the phone on the Huawei Share sensor area on the monitor’s base.
The MateView also has a Smart bar, which is a touch-sensitive control bar used that can be used to control the monitor’s functions and settings without the use of physical buttons. It can be accessed by swiping or tapping with fingers beneath the display. Furthermore, the monitor has two microphones and two 5W speakers.

The Huawei MateView GT is a gaming monitor with a 1500R curved 34-inch VA display and a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. It’s a 165 Hz refresh rate display with a 90% DCI-P3 (typical) colour gamut and 100% sRGB coverage.
This 21:9 panel has a 350nits typical brightness and 4000:1 (typical) contrast ratio, and can produce over 1 billion colours. The monitor also features a stereo soundbar that has two 5W speakers. The soundbar supports touch controls as well, so you can control the volume by swiping along it with your finger.
There are also light effects on the soundbar. Also, the monitor can be tilted forward and backward from -5° to 20° and has a 110mm stand.
