Honor X6a Overview
Design
The Honor X6a looks pretty generic at first glance. It features a square camera module at the back that houses the three cameras. There are two color options for the HonorX6a.
The phone is decently thin at 8.4mm and comes with flat frames. You also get a headphone jack with the phone and a fingerprint sensor.

Display
The phone comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ resolution display and as it’s a budget phone, the display is TFT LCD but surprisingly refreshes at 90Hz.
The display features Dynamic dimming that Honor claims helps reduce eye fatigue. It’s a 20.15:9 ratio display with 269ppi density.
Hardware
The Honor X6a packs the Mediatek Helio G36 under the hood. It’s a 12nm chipset with eight cores (4×2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53). It’s an entry-level chipset.
The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is also a dedicated micro SD slot for storage expansion.
Camera
On paper, the phone features a triple camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP f1.8 sensor with the other two being a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. Only the primary camera looks usable and the videos are also limited to 1080p@30fps.
The front has a 5MP f2.2 camera and can shoot up to 1080p@30fps videos just like the main sensor.
Battery and OS
The phone has a large 5200mAh battery with support for 22.5W wired charging. Honor has advertised a 0-31% charge in 20 minutes for the phone, a weird stat but useful nonetheless.
The smartphone runs on Android 13, out of the box, with MagicOS 7.1 on top.
