After months of anticipation and rumors, the highly-awaited Hero XPulse 210 will finally mark its arrival in the Nepali market. It will be showcased at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2025 alongside three new Hero products across different segments.
CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Hero motorcycles in Nepal, is planning to showcase its segment-defining two-wheelers at the expo. The event will showcase four new Hero products: XPulse 210, Xoom 125, Xoom 160, and Super Splendor 125 BS6.
Hero Nepal has announced that both the XPulse 210 and the Xoom 125 are currently undergoing testing in preparation for their official launch. The Xoom 125 is officially set to make its debut, although details about the XPulse 210 remain unclear. Even if the XPulse 210 does not launch at the upcoming event, it will arrive in Nepal in time for the festive season.
At the NADA Auto Show 2024, Hero Nepal did something similar, showcasing the Hero Xtreme 125R, Xtreme 160R 4V, and XPulse 200 4V Pro, which were launched much later.
The XPulse 210 marks an exciting step forward in Hero’s adventure lineup. Rather than being a minor bump in displacement, it represents a complete overhaul of the proven XPulse 200 platform. Hero has taken rider feedback seriously, addressing both strengths and shortcomings of the last model.
At its core, the new 210cc DOHC engine brings smoother refinement, a reworked gearbox, and stronger top-end performance. This also directly tackles one of the 200’s biggest criticisms, limited highway capability, while retaining the agility and accessibility.
What is the Price of Hero XPulse 210 in Nepal?
The Hero XPulse 210 price in Nepal is not yet revealed. While official numbers are still under wraps, we can make a fair estimate by looking at Hero’s current lineup. The XPulse 200 4V Pro is priced at Rs. 5.02 lakh. With its bigger engine and upgraded hardware, the XPulse 210 will almost certainly slot above both, around Rs. 5.50 Lakhs to Rs. 6 Lakhs.
The Hero XPulse 210 is offered in two variants: Base and Top. The Base variant strips back a few features, both visual and mechanical, most notably offering Single-Channel ABS instead of the Dual-Channel system equipped on the Top variant.
For the Nepali market, Hero currently sells two versions of the XPulse 200 4V, so they could position the XPulse 210 Top variant as the flagship. It remains to be seen if it launches the Top option as it is or tweaks the feature list to keep the price competitive. We’ll continue to update this coverage as more information becomes available.
The challenge for Hero Nepal will be to strike the right balance. If they push the price too high, the XPulse 210 risks being judged against more powerful rivals, which can undermine its biggest strength: offering an approachable adventure touring in an affordable package.

Hero XPulse 210 Overview
Design
The Hero XPulse 210 builds on its rugged adventure DNA with a sharper, more muscular stance. It looks familiar yet fresh, thanks to new tri-tone finishes in Azure Blue and Alpine Silver colors that add a rally-inspired edge without losing the classic XPulse silhouette.
Up front, it retains the signature round Class-D LED headlamp with H-shaped DRLs, now reinforced by a protruding pull bar that doubles as both protection and a functional grab point for lifting the bike when stranded. The tall white windscreen improves wind protection at higher speeds, while reinforced handguards shield against branches and debris on trails. A high-mounted fender paired with long-travel telescopic forks and fork gaiters underscores its off-road-ready intent.
From the side, the sculpted fuel tank flows cleanly into slim shrouds, while the golden engine casing and protective cowl add a premium touch. Short, sharp side panels and an exposed subframe give the rear its rally-bike-inspired look. It is topped with a long one-piece seat sculpted to mimic a split setup for both comfort and sportiness.
The open-tooth footpegs with removable rubbers are positioned perfectly for standing maneuvers during off-road sections. The upswept exhaust is familiar, further adding to its rugged profile. The wheel setup remains familiar with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear, wrapped in Eurogrip dual-purpose tubed tyres.
At the rear, a compact tail section features a split-type LED taillight and indicators that are neatly integrated into the design. A long mudguard with high-mounted indicators ensures practicality in messy terrain, while a sturdy rear rack provides space for luggage. These elements help blend adventure functionality with rally-inspired styling, striking a balance between practicality and visual flair.
Instrument Cluster
The Hero XPulse 210 is available with either a 4.2-inch LCD or a 4.2-inch full-color TFT display, depending on the variant. Both feature clean, easy-to-read layouts, but the TFT unit stands out with richer graphics and functionality.
Speedometer, Tachometer, Gear Position Indicator, Fuel Level, Engine Temperature, Trip Meters, and Clock are standard across both setups. However, the TFT cluster adds Bluetooth connectivity for Turn-by-Turn navigation, Call and SMS alerts, and ride data logging.
Performance
Hero XPulse 210 is powered by a 210cc, Single-Cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, Liquid-Cooled FI Engine. It can generate a max power of 24.6PS at 9250rpm and a max torque of 20.7 Nm at 7250rpm. Moreover, it is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox featuring Assist and Slipper Clutch, as well asa 13-liter fuel tank capacity.
Although it shares its base engine architecture with the Karizma XMR 210, the XPulse’s motor is retuned for dual-sport duties. It includes a different engine map and cam timing optimization, which means that 70% of the torque is available from 3,000rpm.
A revised sprocket setup, moving from 14/42T in XMR to 14/46T, ensures better low-end grunt and off-road tractability. The addition of a sixth gear and liquid-cooling not only improves cruising ability but also broadens the XPulse’s highway comfort zone.
On paper, the 10.4cc displacement increase might seem incremental, but the numbers tell a different story. The XPulse 210 delivers 30% more power and 20% more torque than the XPulse 200 4V, translating to 5.5PS more power and 3.35Nm more torque at higher rpms than before. This offers better highway stability and stronger top-end performance. The higher rev ceiling allows it to hold speeds comfortably on open stretches while retaining the low-speed control required for trail riding.
Complementing the engine is the introduction of three switchable ABS modes: Road (Both ABS ON), Off-Road (Both ABS Off), and Trail (Rear ABS Off). This not only enhances safety but also gives riders more control in varied conditions, from tarmac grip to loose gravel and rugged terrain.

Additional Details
The Hero XPulse 210 is underpinned by an updated High-Tensile Semi-Double Cradle Frame. Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm telescopic fork with anti-friction bush, offering 210 mm of travel, paired with a linkage-type rear mono-shock with 205 mm of travel. This places it neatly between the XPulse 200 4V (190 mm front / 170 mm rear) and the hardcore 200 4V Pro (250 mm front / 220 mm rear).
Notably, Hero has skipped adjustability on the XPulse 210’s suspension, a feature reserved for the Pro variant. This signals the 210’s role as a balanced all-rounder rather than a serious off-road machine.
Dimensionally, the bike measures 2254 mm in length, 884 mm in width, and 1348 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1446 mm. Seat height is set at 830 mm, while ground clearance stands at 220 mm. At 170 kg kerb weight, it’s noticeably heavier than the XPulse 200 4V (158 kg) and the Pro (161 kg).
The longer wheelbase and added heft translate into greater stability at higher speeds. This is an intentional shift by Hero to make the XPulse 210 more highway-friendly without losing its off-road edge.

Given the extensive upgrades, the Hero XPulse 210 is expected to be priced above the XPulse 200 4V Pro, which currently retails for Rs. 5.02 lakhs in Nepal. With its new liquid-cooled engine, 6-speed gearbox, assist & slipper clutch, and Dual-Channel ABS modes, the XPulse 210 positions itself as a more premium, adventure-ready package. That said, Hero will likely keep pricing aggressively to retain the XPulse’s value-focused identity and strengthen its long-term appeal in the segment.
With two variants available in the Indian market, we believe that Hero Nepal will bring only the Top variant, keeping the lineup simple and focused. The official showcase is expected at the NADA Auto Show 2025, although it remains unclear whether the launch itself will happen at the event.

Rivals
Hero XPulse 210 rivals the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX.
Despite its 39cc displacement advantage, the XPulse 210 goes head-to-head with the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX, though the Suzuki still holds a clear powertrain edge. On paper, the Japanese rival delivers 1.9PS more power and 1.9Nm more torque, which shows up in its sharper throttle response and more sporty riding character.
There was a time when the XPulse was simply the budget-friendly adventure pick. This time, things are different. The XPulse 210 fires back with a liquid-cooled DOHC engine, a 6-speed gearbox, and an assist-and-slipper clutch, a package that is superior to the V-Strom’s oil-cooled SOHC motor and basic 5-speed transmission.
Beyond the engine, Hero has also leaned into capability. The 21/18-inch tubed spoke tyres carry genuine off-road intent, compared to the V-Strom’s 19/17-inch tubeless alloys. Add in long-travel suspension, switchable ABS modes, and a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and the XPulse starts looking like the more adventure-focused machine.
Now, the big question is price. If Hero Nepal manages to slot the XPulse 210 below the Rs. 5.99 lakh tag of the V-Strom, it could have a strong case for itself in the segment.
What holds it back is the 210cc engine, which limits it against premium rivals like the KTM 250 Adventure. Still, with Hero already running a 250cc motor on the Xtreme 250R, there’s room for growth. For now, the XPulse 210 stands tall as Hero’s flagship ADV, and arguably the most complete XPulse yet.
