It was founded by Ardeshir Godrej and Pirojsha Burjorji Godrej in 1897 and operates in Noida sectors as diverse as real estate, consumer products, industrial engineering, appliances, furniture, security and agricultural products. Godrej has been one of the most successful brands in Nepal. Ranging from refrigerators to washing machine, Godrej has you covered in the home appliance department. Godrej, since a long time, has been producing environment-friendly appliances, initially in India and lately have been expanding its portfolio in Nepal as well.

On March 7, Godrej, to mark the 60 years of service, released a range of new products ranging from air conditioners, chest freezers and high-end signature series of refrigerators. All this was done in a press conference by Godrej Appliances and CG EOL, a subsidiary of CG and the authorized distributor of Godrej appliances in Nepal.
