Dell Inspiron 15 3530 with 120Hz Display Now Available in Nepal via NeoStore

Dell’s new Intel-powered Inspiron 15 comes with mid-range specs and is now available for purchase in the Nepalese market.

The Dell Inspiron 15 comes as a jack-of-all-trade device and combines portability and performance. Looking at its specs, the laptop is most suited for office work and students. Dell Inspiron 15 3530 Overview

Design

Talking about the design, the laptop comes in a monotone and plain design. You’ll find the Dell logo with a shiny finish embossed in the center of the top lid. When opened, the lid has two rubber pads that tilt the laptop to provide better airflow and ergonomy.

Inside, you’ll find a narrow bezel 16:9 display, a non-backlit full keyboard with a number pad, and a slightly off-centered touchpad. The interior is minimal and has no graphics or branding of any kind. Vents are also minimal and only on the back and underside of the laptop to give it a more clean and sleek look.

The laptop comes in two colors: Carbon Black and Platinum Silver. For Nepalese customers, only the Carbon Black Option is made available currently. The Carbon Black option has a body made of polycarbonate plastic.

Display

The Inspiron 15 has a 15.6-inch LCD display that can reach a maximum brightness of 250nits. The narrow bezel display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The display has an Anti-Glare finish applied to reduce reflections and increase visibility. Completing the top lid is the 720p webcam.

Hardware and Connectivity

The Dell Inspiron 15 is powered by an Intel Core i5-1335U processor. The 13th-Gen U processor comes with 2 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores, making it a 10-core CPU.

The laptop comes with Intel’s Iris Xe integrated graphics processor. The Xe graphics processor is configured to run on dual-channel configuration only. If you get a single-channel configuration model, the laptop will use Intel’s UHD graphics instead.

Memory-wise, this Dell Inspiron 15 comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM that runs at a maximum speed of 2666 MT/s. The laptop has 2x SO-DIMM slots for memory expansion, making the laptop support 16GB of maximum memory configuration.

This model of Dell Inspiron 15 comes with a 512GB removable M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.

Talking about connectivity, the laptop comes with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, one 3.5mm headphone jack, and one HDMI 1.4 port. There is one SD 3.0 card slot as well.

Battery

Powering the Inspiron 15 is a fairly small 3-cell 41Wh battery. The laptop charges from a 65W barrel plug adapter. The laptop supports Dell’s ExpressCharge, which Dell claims can recharge the battery to 80% in just 60 minutes.
