MAW Vriddhi AutoCorp, the authorized distributor of Changan vehicles in Nepal, is planning to introduce its first-ever EV for the Nepali market.
Deepal S7 is an electric SUV, built on Changan’s EPA NEV platform. It is also known as the Shenlan Deepal S7 in some markets.
Changan Nepal offers Alsvin and Hunter in the Nepali market, but no EV. However, that will change with the introduction of Deepal S7 in its portfolio.
There are two variants of the Deepal S7 in China: 520Max and 620Max.

Deepal S7 price in Nepal will likely range around Rs. 80 Lakhs to Rs. 1.30 Crore.

Deepal S7 Overview
Design
Deepal S7 sports a wide-body design, provoking pure simplicity and ultimate dynamic.
It gets the Moon String Front Face with well-defined ribs. Moreover, the doors are completely frameless with flush door handles.
The front section catches attention with its complex LED system which includes Intelligent Interactive LED DRLs.
The rear section comes with a Starflame Through-Type Taillight with an Illuminated Logo.

However, there is an off-chance on Changan Nepal customizing the Motor and Battery Configuration to meet up with popular offerings like BYD Atto 3 and MG ZS EV.
Or, the company could instead focus on taking on premium EVs like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
