Coolpad Cool X with 7.12 inch Display and 6000 mAh Battery Launched in Nepal

Coolpad is back in Nepal and they have been pretty busy with new smartphone launches. Recently, they launched Cool 6, N7 Plus, and Cool 5. But they are not done as they have also launched Coolpad Cool X in Nepal.

Coolpad Cool X price in Nepal is Rs. 17,999. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

Design and Display

Coolpad Cool X has a curved back which looks like glass but is made of polycarbonate. The back has a glastic finish as it holds dual cameras and a fingerprint sensor.

On the front, it has a dewdrop notch.

Coolpad Cool X comes with a 7.12 inches FHD IPS display. The side bezels look thicker than what we see on phones these days. The chin also looks quite big.

Performance

Coolpad Cool X uses Mediatek Helio P23 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

Mediatek Helio P23 is a 16 nm chipset that includes Octa-core 2.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.

Helio P23 is a budget chipset and it won’t offer good performance especially at this price tag. The chipset seems underwhelming given the price. You can get far superior performance with the likes of Redmi 9 for the price.

Camera

In terms of camera, Coolpad Cool X has a dual-camera setup on the rear. It has a 16MP main sensor and a 0.3 MP depth sensor.

On the front, it comes with a 13MP selfie camera.

Battery

Coolpad Cool X comes with a 6000 mAh battery. Also, it is running on Android 9.

Coolpad Cool X price in Nepal is Rs. 17,999. It is available for purchase via offline stores.

Coolpad has been launching plenty of budget phones in recent weeks. And, they seem to have one thing in common. Everything looks good on paper except the chipset.

Similarly, Cool X has a big FHD display with a big 6000 mAh battery. It provides generous 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. However, it is using an old Helio P23 chipset which cannot even give a good general performance. On top of that, it is running on Android 9.
