Coolpad Cool 5 with Helio P22 and 4000 mAh Battery Launched in Nepal

Coolpad has launched a couple of phones in recent weeks. And, now it has launched Coolpad Cool 5 in Nepal.

Coolpad Cool 5 price in Nepal is Rs. 13,999 and it comes in 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

Design

Coolpad Cool 5 uses a polycarbonate back that houses a dual camera and a fingerprint sensor. It has a gradient finish on the back and comes in two colors: Gradient Blue and Midnight Blue.

On the front, it has a dewdrop notch that houses a selfie camera.

Display

Coolpad Cool 5 comes with a 6.22 inches HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.

It’s an IPS LCD panel that has 270 PPI pixel density.

Hardware

Coolpad Cool 5 uses Mediatek Helio P22 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage. We have seen the same chipset on the Coolpad N7 Plus as well.

Mediatek Helio P22 is a 12 nm chipset that includes Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU

Helio P22 is a budget chipset and it is an older chipset that will give you average performance for this price. Phones from Redmi and Realme have a better chipset. However, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at this price tag are commendable.

Camera

In terms of camera, Coolpad Cool 5 has a dual camera on the rear with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. The rear camera can shoot videos up to 1080p.

Battery

Coolpad N7 Plus comes with a 4000 mAh battery. Also, it is running on Android 10.

Coolpad has been launching new phones in recent weeks. This is their 3rd launch after their comeback and it looks like a decent budget option.

Coolpad Cool 5 is providing 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is rare at this price. The camera setup looks fine and the chipset is decent. They could have gone with a powerful chipset. However, it looks like a decent budget option for the price.
