Whenever we say “premium SUVs”, our thought of luxury and comfort is limited by what is available in the market. Consider premium electric SUVs like MG eZS, Kia Niro EV or Hyundai Kona. Sure, we can expect a certain level of luxury and comfort. But compared to international brands like Tesla and Jaguar, the entire perception of luxury doesn’t even come close to ours.
However, things might be changing for the better. According to the latest reports, Audi e-Tron is going to launch in Nepal. For better or worse, it checks out all the boxes for things people want in a new car.
Modern SUV? Check! Luxury SUV? Check! Electric SUV? Check! Hell-a Expensive? Check!
Well, the official launch date and the pricing has been kept under wrap. However, that won’t stop any rumors from spreading like wildfire.
Additionally, Audi E-Tron is expected to enter the valley sometime next week. Plus, there a strong chance that it will be showcased at NADA Auto Show 2019. At the end of the day, everything falls on the hands of Ramro Motors, the authorized distributors. As for the pricing, Audi E-Tron EV price in Nepal is expected to be somewhere around Rs. 1,75,00,000.
Audi E-Tron: Overview
Audi E-Tron is powered by a two-electric motor, capable of generating a max power of 400HP and max torque of 665Nm. Furthermore, this amazing power output results in 0-60kmph in just 5.7 seconds! Moreover, it is expected to come with a range of 400km which can be stretched through the in-built regenerative braking system.

I’m not quite sure how the overall charging works. Given the excellent 400km range, the battery must be large. In theory, the charging time should also be large to accommodate that. We’ll know more about once Audi E-Tron is officially launched in Nepal.
Audi E-Tron: Features
Audi E-Tron shines brighter than any other premium SUVs available in Nepal. The sheer number of interesting features in Audi E-Tron is just crazy!

I’ll highlight a few of them. You will get a complex infotainment system and instrument cluster, which comes with an extensive 360-degree camera. Moving on, you can make it “hum”.
Electric cars don’t really make much of a noise, but this one can! Obviously, it’s for the pedestrian’s safety… but it is a really cool feature.
Look, I’m not going to do it any justice by simply citing out the feature. So, I’ll leave out a video link to Doug DeMuro, who did an amazing job covering all the quirks and features of the new Audi E-Tron. Be sure to check that out!
Over anything else, I am very excited to see Audi E-Tron in person. Moreover, I do expect to see it at NADA Auto Show 2019, and maybe it will be the highlight of the show! So far, NADA Auto Show is hyping up to be the shows of shows. Honestly, that’s like every auto enthusiast’s dream.
I don’t know about you. But, Audi E-Tron just made my “Top Ten List of Things Not Miss” at NADA Auto Show.
