Ai+ is the new kid on the block in the smartphone world. The company made its debut in mid-2025 with the launch of its first two models, the Ai+ Pulse and Ai+ Nova, in India.
Fast forward a few months, and the brand has now entered the Nepali market, aiming to make its mark in the entry-level segment.
What is the price of the Ai+ Pulse and Nova in Nepal?

Ai+ Pulse and Nova Overview
Design
Both Ai+ phones follow a design approach that feels a bit different from what we usually see in the budget segment. Sure, the all-plastic build reminds you of their price point, but it’s the camera module where things get interesting.
The Ai+ Pulse stands out with a “squaricle” camera module, slightly angled at the bottom right. The back panel is flat with a matte finish, complemented by clean diagonal lines that give it a more refined look.
The Ai+ Nova, on the other hand, takes a more familiar route with a square camera module. But it adds a bold twist, a thick strip running across the top of the rear panel. While it might look like glass at first glance, it’s actually plastic.
Flip to the front, and the budget DNA shows again: chunky bezels and a classic waterdrop notch. The sides carry the usual volume rocker and power button, while the bottom houses a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker.
Display
Both phones sport the exact same 6.74-inch display. They also share an HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, which is fairly standard for devices in this price segment.
Where they differ is in the panel technology. The Pulse comes with a TFT IPS panel, which struggles with viewing angles. The Nova, meanwhile, opts for a more conventional LCD panel.
Brightness, however, is a weak point on both. With a typical brightness of 450 nits (and dipping to around 400 nits at minimum), outdoor visibility takes a noticeable hit; using these phones under direct sunlight won’t be a pleasant experience.
Hardware
The Ai+ Pulse runs on the popular UNISOC T615, the same chip powering the Redmi A5, another strong entry-level contender. Interestingly, the Pulse comes in cheaper than the A5 while offering a bit more memory: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage in the base model. There’s also a 6/128GB variant, which makes the higher RAM capacity a solid value add at this price point.
The Ai+ Nova steps things up with the UNISOC T8200, essentially a rebranded T765. Since this is a 5G chip, the Nova finds itself competing with entry-level 5G players like the HMD Crest and Moto G35, both of which use the UNISOC T760, a near-identical sibling from the same lineup.
Nova is available in 6/128GB and 8/128GB options. The 6/128GB model feels aggressively priced for what it brings to the table, while the 8/128GB variant might seem a bit steep at first glance. But when stacked against rivals like the Crest and Moto G35, which usually top out at just 4GB or 6GB of RAM, the 8GB option on the Nova starts to look like a compelling deal.
And yes, both phones feature a dedicated microSD card slot with support for expansion up to 1TB, which is always a welcome addition.
Camera
As budget phones, the camera setup is nothing out of the ordinary. Both devices feature a 50MP main sensor with EIS, and that’s pretty much the highlight. On the front, you get a modest 5MP selfie camera.
Video recording, however, sets the two apart. The Pulse maxes out at 1080p@30fps on both front and rear cameras. The Nova, on the other hand, steps up with 4K@30fps video recording support on both ends, a rare perk in this segment.
Battery and OS
Both the Pulse and Nova pack a standard 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging, which has pretty much become the norm in the budget segment.
On the software side, the phones ship with the privacy-focused NxtQuantum OS, based on Android 15 and powered by nxtQ. According to Ai+, the OS comes with locally trained AI engines and promises zero bloatware or unnecessary tracking.
However, there’s one catch: user data is stored on Indian servers. For Nepali buyers, this might raise a few concerns about data sovereignty and trust, especially for those who are cautious about where their personal information resides. How much this will actually impact adoption remains to be seen.
Ai+ Pulse and Nova Price in Nepal and Availability
The Ai+ Pulse price in Nepal is Rs. 8,999 for the 4/64GB variant and Rs. 12,499 for the 6/128GB model. Similarly, the Ai+ Nova price in Nepal is set at Rs. 13,999 for 6/128GB and Rs. 17,999 for 8/128GB.
Both phones are now available for purchase at authorized stores across the country.
Ai+ Phones | Price in Nepal |
---|---|
Pulse [4/64GB] | Rs. 8,999 |
Pulse [6/128GB] | Rs. 12,499 |
Nova 5G[6/128GB] | Rs. 13,999 |
Nova 5G[8/128GB] | Rs. 17,999 |
Both Ai+ phones, Pulse and Nova, excel in some areas while falling short in others. One clear strength for both is the processor, which delivers decent performance for the segment.
On the downside, the display panel and brightness are noticeably weak. But these compromises are somewhat expected in entry-level smartphones.
While the phones get the job done for a budget device, some rivals still offer better overall value for money.
